Perfect for any season and occasions, this chalet was built to accommodate skiers, bikers, families, wedding parties and reunions. Originally built in 2004, however, the chalet was lost in a fire during the winter of 2014 and was just recently completed in 2017\. This 5 bedroom + loft + media room sleeping areas, 6.5 bathroom home is one of the largest and newest homes at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. There are 5 master bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms and 2 with large walk-in closets. One bedroom and ensuite is wheel chair assessible. Mainfloor bedrooms has doors exiting on the huge deck running the full length of the back of the home. Downstairs bedroom and media room exit onto the back-yard patio. The huge kitchen features a 6 burner gas stove with dual ovens, water spigot and stovetop griddle. There are 3 dishwashers, high capacity ice maker and a built in coffee/expresso machine. Fully provisioned with anything a discerning chef might desire to create the perfect family meal. Full bar seating perfect for pre dinner appetizers. There is a large two car garage with a separate half garage and storage area for ski equipment and a large mud room for storing boots and ski clothing. Main floor laundry room is right off the mud room - perfect for drying those wet ski clothes. The large living room connects right off the kitchen area with lots of seating and huge stone, floor to ceiling wood fireplace and dual exits onto both the back deck and the front lawn area. The back deck features a large gas grill and patio furniture overlooking the back yard and the creek below. Downstairs features a large master bedroom with wood fireplace, ensuite bathroom, walk-in closet, office desk, large flatscreen TV and queen murphy bed. A media room features a wet bar, 70" flatscreen TV, full bathroom off the media room and a queen murphy bed. Access to the back patio and the 8 person hot tub is off the media room exit. This home features breathtaking mountain views, a gourmet kitchen, hot tub and is located directly on Cache Creek. Not to mention, it has heated floors in all bathrooms so no need to worry about cold feet during the winter season. Additionally, there are two laundry rooms and two Valcourt fireplaces along with an ample supply of firewood. Great location, close proximity to ski hill/gondola, golf course and town. We traveled with a large family group and were delighted to each have our own bedrooms and private bathrooms. Upstairs rooms were a bit hot and would benefit from a fan since there is no AC in the home. The house was spacious and very clean. The carpet on the stairs and in the basement was a bit worn/stained. The only complaint would be that there was only one set of towels in each bathroom. We were there for a week so needed to do laundry in order to have clean/ dry towels. Plenty of hot tub towels though. Coffee maker is a bit confusing and the settings seem to be messed up a bit. Our group would have preferred a pot option that could make coffee simply and quickly instead. Overall, the home is beautiful and spacious with exceptional views of kicking horse mountain. This house is excellent. It has everything you need. It was clean and well maintained. Privacy, quiet, gourmet kitchen and coffee machine (including coffee) and more than enough cooking gear and kitchenware. A perfect dining room for big gatherings and mealtime conversations and two family rooms for smaller private conversation. Great patio and hot tub. This must be the best place in the resort and it had everything in the description and more including a long list of things we did not expect to find. There is also an office with desk, printer and Internet so you can keep up with work if you have to. Wireless Internet for everyone, games for the kids. Add to this that we received excellent customer service from the owner including a welcome phone call 2hrs after check in just make sure we were happy. You can't get better than this. We were a group of 8 friends staying for 3 nights at Kicking Horse to go Heli skiing. Place was perfect, extremely clean with room for all of us to hang around together in the living/dinning room enjoying the large fire place. The house is outstanding and well appointed. We had 6 couples the first night and 7 the second night. The house is very large and spectacular and it more than accommodated our group. With each bedroom having an en-suite it was great. The kitchen is great for cooking large meals in. We were all able to eat around the large dining table. The hot tub was a great feature for using after a day of skiing. The house is stocked up with several games and books if skiing isn’t your thing. Linda was great for working with. She responded fast and was accommodating. She was able to make some changes for us which we appreciated. Would definitely rent this property again and would recommend it to anyone. ##### Bryce P.
