It says we weren't supposed to use the outside stairs but we had to - the spiral stairs were way to difficult for our dog to handle safely. For a dog friendly property this is an issue. The real fire place was amazing. The heated floors in the bathroom are nice. The pillars outside the living room do take away from the breathtaking views. Breathtaking to me means no obstruction. The view outside on the deck was perfect for 2 to sit together and look out. I expected to access the house by stairs just didn't expect to get a notice the day prior to arrival saying the only way to access the upstairs was by the spiral staircase. Ever try and lug a full cooler up a spiral staircase not fun. Not sure why owner doesn't want you entering from the outside those stairs were much safer. I had specifically asked if the BBQ was propane was told yes. It's not so had to go back into town for charcoal. I would planned something else a special dinner I was makingas I've not done much charcoal cooking I gave up trying to remember which side of each cupboard was soft close and which were broken same with the kitchen drawss. Some slammed closed. It would have been nice to have q sponge or dish cloth to wripe counters there was a ling handled brush for washing dishes. It was very overwhelming and unhealthy to sleep in the downstairs bedroom. As a result of not being able to use the downstairs, we were all forced to use the upstairs for living and sleeping. Therefore, we were unable to use half of the property that I had paid for. It was very uncomfortable trying to sleep three adults in the remaining space. I had contacted Vacasa several times and got no satisfaction behind oh we’re so sorry and you must feel terrible. As a result my Family left three days early and I left one day early due to this disappointment. I really hope that someone from the Cousin management will Contact me. ##### Marla K. That was very disappointing as that is why we picked the Sand Crab. Also there were no instructions on how to use the heating system and turning on the3 tvs. Finally figured out 2 but the 3rd would not turn on. We ran out of hot water twice. Quiet neighborhood, beautiful views, close to the beach. Once you start to settle in its clear there is alot to be desired. The views is great, however the windows are so dirty on the outside when mixed with the moist marine air its almost impossible to see out of them. The cleanliness is superficial, the seating in the living room is dreadful, and supplies are minimal. While the app is great, quick response to issues via text, the local staff are slow in their responses (36 hrs before the addressed the refrigerator/freezer not working) and zero follow up. We will return to Gold Beach, its beautiful, however we will not stay at this property again. ##### Katrina B. Ended up making dinner in the well equipped kitchen, rather than going out to eat. We were treated to an epic thunder and lightning storm over the ocean that we will not soon forget.
