"As a solo female traveller, I felt safe with the exceptionally friendly staff who made a point of knowing who I was by name and checked on me every time I went in and out of the hotel. The area itself is not for the faint hearted but I was being picked up for day tours from the hotel door each day so really didn’t bother me and there were lots of lovely restaurants close by. Quirky little hotel and only positive things to say"

"The room was compact, the carpet around the tv viewing area was rough on your feet. The safe there were no instructions and did not work electronically and we had to be given a key. There was no electrical socket in the bathroom therefore my wife had to dry her hair and use the mirror on her phone to dry her hair in the living room as no mirror near any sockets. Room service did not pick up (tried 7 times) so we had to go down which was not good as my stomach was playing up and the waiter apologised as he could then see on his phone we had tried ringing. "
