Clean, comfortable, and attentive hosts. We had 4 different families staying together and we each had a wing or area of the house so it did not feel cramped. Wasn’t a huge fan of the water bed, but my teens loved the sloshiness. Note that the location is right off the highway. I was unhappy at first, but you can hear it at all from inside the home, and even outside the creek and highway blend together so you don’t feel the proximity. It also makes it much easier to get places since it’s such a fast pop onto the highway. The mountainside that the property is on is lovely, with lots of mountain sheep and birds. We all enjoyed the massage chair & the openess of the kitchen. Everything was five stars minus the 2 king mattresses. They sagged pretty good other than that the place is exceptional. It had every amenity you could ask for. The rooms were updated nicely especially all of the bathrooms. The views from the deck and surrounding area are spectacular! It's in a scenic location but only 2 miles from town. The host Donna was always quick to respond to any questions or needs that we had. Would highly recommend staying here ##### Darrel D. The property was very comfortable, offering some unique qualities like an outdoor hot tub, basement game room for kids and foyer that gave space for storage, coats, boots and snow pants. The only surprise we experienced was the basement bedroom having a waterbed. We weren’t expecting a waterbed, but it was not a problem. Donna, our host, was fabulous, especially about pet dogs and allowing us to arrive a day earlier so we could avoid traveling on winter highway conditions…she truly showed the holiday spirit! ##### Gregg P. Jun 18, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location The setup of the house was great but the two rooms at the east side of the house were unbearably hot with no working AC which made for pretty restless nights and little sleep. The host provided fans and offered to have a tech come work on the AC but that would have interfered with our stay/family time in the house. Donna the host was incredibly responsive and the house was pretty well stocked. I think the number of people this house sleeps is a little deceiving given the waterbed in the garden level room is not fit for two people and the twin bed in the master is a cot - now a full twin. However they did have air beds you could use. A little feedback for future guests safety: the hot and cold handles in the bathroom sink off of the two queen bedroom are switched. The hot comes on with the cold handle and vise versa. The hot water heater must be set very high because it would be scalding water almost immediately- dangerous for my 3 old who washed her hands in there not knowing. Also, the deck in the back needs to be resurfaced/ refinished. It’s wobbly and poses danger for splinters. Overall, We had a good stay and loved Glenwood. ##### Kayley S. The description actually fell short of how great it actually is. Donna was very responsive and helpful. We only had 5 of us but could have easily accommodated another 4+ people. The property had something for everyone. Tons of space, game room, massage chair, great tv's, Jacuzzi brand spa, outdoor space, etc. All of amenities were very high quality; the blend of Colorado native touches with thoroughly modern amenities (i.e. toilet seats/bidets) made it feel both cozy and luxurious at the same time. We didn't use the waterbed but it is a charming touch. Everyone had an amazing time and we did not want to leave. The location is very convenient right off the highway and the WOW property is truly a five star property. We will certainly come back next time when we are in Glenwood Springs again. ##### Keith R. The location was easy to locate off the highway. We did not get a chance to go to the Glenwood Hot Springs, we went to another location and we were regretful of that choice. We recommend going to Glenwood Hot Springs. Going into to town from the location was easy and convenient. The Kitchen and the dining room were perfect for family meals and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils, dinnerware, cookware and glasses. All the little touches were nice. The only suggestion I would have is that comfortably it sleeps 11. The waterbed is to small for more than one person, and it needs more water, if you’re older than 60 hard to get of. The couches don’t make out into beds so yes you can sleep on them but I would say that isn’t optimal. The small roll away also was not very big made for a child. So on the website I would put 12 not 18. We give your place a 5 rating! Donna, Isreal and Luz are very responsive and easy to communicate with. We had two grandparents, two parents, and four children. Kids ages were 10, 7, 6, and 2. We all agreed this was one of our greatest vacations! The house is easy to get to, located within 2 miles from Glenwood Springs, but not busy or hectic. It is just off the No Name exit. Everything is easy to get to and convenient. We went rafting on the Colorado river, hiking two different trails (one along the No Name creek, the trailhead is a couple miles up the road the house is on), Glenwood Hot Springs (discount provided by the host), went up to the Adventure Park, shopped, ate at some great places, and also cooked at the house for a few meals. There is so much to do in Glenwood Springs. The house is comfortable and Donna and Israel have thought of everything. The game room was a blast, the movie room was comfortable with a mini-kitchen for making snacks, the hot tub has a great view, there is a path down to the creek where a couple beavers were seen every day, the bathrooms are beautiful and the showers are fantastic, all the bedrooms are decorated beautifully, plenty of kid and adult games are provided, a selection of outstanding books was available, the table in the nook off the kitchen had a stunning view through all the windows, I could go on and on, they thought of everything!
