Most comfortable place to stay and very peaceful too..
Met the cats, highlands cows and many Alpacas and were entertaining and give us smiles for the day.
Host were super helpful and great attitude with us.
We really enjoy the stay
We absolutely loved our time! The location was great and the place was so clean and well kept. The animals provided a wonderful and unique experience. We will definitely be back!
Great hosts, wonderfully unique setting. Give this one a high recommendation for your family vacation. Kim even let our family have a private encounter with the alpacas!
This has become our must stay every year. Alpaca My Bags is a wonderful serene place to sit on the back porch, look at the mountains, watch the alpacas and enjoy the quiet. Kim is a great hostess and her boutique holds many must have gifts. Make this your favorite place to stay also.
Our alpaca getaway was perfect for a quiet relaxing weekend. Our vrbo was clean and comfortable. Even the beds were quality. And the views were our favorite. We didn’t bring our kids but they would love this place as well. We stayed here while exploring Glenwood springs. Kim was very friendly and accessible.
This was such a lovely stay. The home was very "homey", clean and adorably decorated. The alpacas were so fun. They have different personalities and really brought out the kid in my teen/young adult kids. It was so peaceful to enjoy my coffee each morning on the deck and go for a walk to say good morning to our sweet, furry friends. I would highly recommend!
We stopped here for a night as part of a family vacation/roadtrip. It was perfect! The alpacas were so great! The house was clean and just as advertised. The cute alpaca cookies and bag of alpaca food on the counter at check in were a great little touch! This spot was just what we needed as we headed west on our family vacation! The local restaurant recommendations from the owners were spot on. We had a fabulous meal at Miners Claim in Silt. It was so much more than what we expected to find in such a small town.
The photos you see on the site is what you get. Very cozy upscale modern country home. Very Clean and neat. The owners were very responsive to messages and check out was super easy. They even give you Alpaca food to feed their Aplacas. Just be careful feeding them as they sometimes spit and snort!! Lol..I highly reccomended!
What a way to start our vacation in Colorado! We got in a day later than planned due to a flight diversion. Kimmy gave us a personal tour into the alpaca pasture. We were surrounded by alpacas and my daughter even got to hold a baby alpaca. We also got to meet the sweet cat Leonard. Communication with Kimmy was great. The property itself was very nice as was the view from the deck. If you’re thinking about this place definitely book it now! You won’t regret it.
Wish we had more time at this property. The kids (3 and 9) enjoyed watching and feeding the alpacas. We booked both upstairs and downstairs property as there were six of us total but we were all able to sleep in the top property just fine. I like how they have a variety of board games in the bedroom. If we weren't so tired that night we would have been playing them.
The alpacas are so cute and we were able to meet a newborn (1 hr old) baby alpaca just before we left. They also have a cat that hangs out (Leonard) and is very friendly with our daughter. The botique was also a hit. We couldn't resist shopping before we left.
Corey and Kimmy were so welcoming and we could tell they take pride on their bussiness and in how they raise their alpacas. Great people!
We really enjoyed our stay on the Alpaca Farm. Very clean, cozy, and fun. Kimmy is an excellent host. Nearby hiking at Rifle Falls State Park was a great recommendation.
We absolutely loved our stay, everything was perfect!! Kim is an amazing host who goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience interacting with the Alpaca's and Highland cows. We will definitely be back!!
We had a wonderful stay. We really appreciated the quiet evenings with the peaceful area. We enjoyed getting to see the alpacas and highland cows—such a unique and charming touch that made our visit extra special. Everything was just as described. We hope to stay again in the future!
We loved seeing the alpacas every day. The house is clean and well-stocked with everything we needed as far as utensils and cookware. Unfortunately the jetted tub was not working, but the owner was not aware. Hope to stay again soon!
Kim and Cory were amazing hosts and we absolutely loved our stay here! The alpacas were a great part of our trip, and we picked up some christmas gifts at their adorable boutique.
We would definitely stay here again!
So fun staying at an Alpaca farm. The hosts were great, the accommodations were cute and clean, and the home was well stocked. We very much enjoyed it.
This place is amazing! Beautiful scenery, nice house, clean and comfortable. Plus the bonus of all the alpacas! Definitely will be going back and would recommend to everyone!
