When you walk into the home, stepping foot into the living area you'll notice the breathtaking view of Lake Glenville and the mountains, lush with vibrant colors during the spring, summer, and fall, and snow-topped during the winter months. The open floor plan connecting the living area, kitchen, and dining room and a skylight above the kitchen island boasts natural light. Of course, no mountain retreat would be complete without a large remote controlled stacked-stone fireplace to take the chill off of cooler nights or curl up on the nap-worthy leather furniture with a good book and cozy blanket. There is a private deck off of the main level to appreciate the view of Lake Glenville. As the home faces west, it's the perfect spot to relax and revel in the sunsets or simply enjoy the lakefront experience -- Lake Glenville even hosts 4th of July fireworks over the water, offering an exclusive view for the summer holiday. Once you head downstairs you're met with a captivating primary suite including a king bed, an exquisite ensuite bath, black out shades, and it's own private deck overlooking Lake Glenville, with a hot tub. You'll also find the second bedroom equipped with a queen bed and ensuite bath, and a third bedroom. The primary and second bedroom both have spacious closets and their own attached baths. Another room has been converted into a third bedroom with a comfy double bed and armoire for clothing. The location is in a wonderful location but not very easy to get to. My suggestion is to travel during the day. We had no choice and arrived after dark which made it very difficult to find. If you are bringing your dog, there’s very little property and grass area around villa. The town of Cashiers and Highlands was two really nice towns to visit. The home was very convenient to Cashiers, and we enjoyed exploring a little around the area. The home itself was clean and inviting. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of room to congregate in the kitchen and common areas. The crown jewel of the home is the gorgeous view overlooking Lake Glenville, and we enjoyed sitting on the porch in the hot tub on a chilly evening looking at the stars as well. The hosts were easy to communicate with and were very welcoming. There was even the surprise of a bottle of wine left for us. Owners could not have been more accommodating and communicative, they were stellar! House was well stocked and a great neighborhood for morning walks with our golden retriever up and down the hills! Large kitchen fully equipped. Driveway is very steep. Stairs are steep inside as well. Got our exercise going up and down. But other than that, it was a great place to stay. ##### Beverly A. The home is beautifully decorated with everything you need to stay in and just relax. The owner Mary was extremely easy and nice to contact if we had any questions.
