They truly thought of everything. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need, including a crockpot and an air fryer. There are board games for the kids and they absolutely loved the loft beds. The beds were so comfortable. It’s right in town so you can walk to the free restaurants and convenience stores and a 5 minute drive to the boat ramp. Our only regret was not staying there longer! The cabin is a real find in an area that's mostly camping/RVing. Glendo State Park is very close by, although the weather was quite cool and stormy during my stay. Not a hardship, though, as I thoroughly enjoyed the cozy cabin, and working on music and projects. Notes: There are trains across the road, but no train horns, so I didn't find them bothersome. If you want to enjoy cooking in the nice cabin kitchen, bring food with you. Otherwise you're pretty much limited to snacks from the general store and Sinclair C-store, or driving the 60 miles to and from Douglas. Two best friends and one dog stayed at this cabin, which we affectionately dubbed the "She-Shed", for a long weekend. The host was great, location was perfect, air conditioning worked like a charm, and we enjoyed having hot showers after long hours on the lake. The ladders up to the lofted beds are not for the faint of heart but we didn't have any trouble with them. Definitely recommend! ##### Laura F.
