In the winter, this course transforms into groomed, cross-country trails, so don't forget your skis! This property is also conveniently close to several other attractions including the community's beach access, complimentary tennis and pickleball courts, the Village at the Homestead for shopping and dining, the Sleeping Bear Point Coast Guard Station Maritime Museum, and the Robert H. Manning Memorial Lighthouse, all within a few miles of your door. The photo we saw when booking painted a considerably different picture than the reality, making it look much newer than it is. And the building was a lot older than expected and rather dated. However the facility had everything we needed and at a very good price. On balance we would consider returning and just adjust our expectations. Note, we visited in October ( not ski season).
