The location on the edge of the Crystal River is superb, surrounded by unsurpassed natural beauty, and steps away from the sandy shore of Lake Michigan. During our October stay, the salmon were running upstream, the leaves were at peak color, the sunsets over Sleeping Bear Dunes were gorgeous, and the gulls glided by in the sky. My friend and I were very disappointed to leave the extremely comfortable bed! Jul 30, 2024 #### One of the best at The Homestead We've stayed at many different condos at The Homestead. All have been excellent, however, Tall Timber B-2 has probably been the best yet. It is a great location, on the river and a few steps to the beach. Clean when we arrived, the furniture and bed were comfortable, the TV and streaming apps set up excellent. Especially liked that the instruction booklets for the appliance were at the ready so it was easy to get everything working. And the beach chairs - they are a real perk. It would have been a beautiful place to stay but we avoided being in the room as much as possible. The room was filthy with dirt, dead mayflies (which looked like large piles of dirt) and huge spiders. We probably killed 5 in our 2 nights.
