This is an amazing cottage high above the water, yet our adult daughters couldn't resist leaving the spacious deck and climbing down the stairs and rocks to discover the amazing beach left by the outgoing tide. With geese and shorebirds in the water, and other birds in the trees, we never knew where to look next. The compact cottage had everything we needed, but it was outside where we spent most of our time. ##### Anita D. Please note this is a paved road, but most are not paved, but gravel. It is a ways downhill to the beach so no beach access from the cabin if you have mobility issues. Cabin well stocked with what you need for cooking your own meals. Upstairs is only accessible by ladder. We had great adventures seeing the rare spotted turtles and climbing mountains. Unfortunately waterfall was dried up when we went in April. ##### Beth W. Forest, water, even animals with deer greeting us in the morning.Place is fully equipped if you want to cook a dinner or just chill on a patio. Rooms are spacious and clean. We brought our own coffee, but there were no coffee filters or French press in the kitchen. However, there was coffee provided, which was weak filter pack coffee. The views from Nicole’s cabin are spectacular night and day. Great to use as a family base while exploring the island. Location is amazing with views west of Vancouver Island. Gillie's beach below the house. Beach House is well equipped with comfy beds and linen, small comfy sitting area and dinning area and a gorgeous deck. Lots of exploring to do around the island. We ventured on to Anderson Bay road - which was an adventure - used all of the SUV 4X4 features. Highly recommend this place. ##### Solvig N.
