This stunning lakeside property offers a spacious and comfortable retreat for up to 12 guests, featuring both a main house and a private apartment. Sleeping Arrangements: Main House (4 Bedrooms): Master Bedroom: King-size bed, TV, and double pilate doors leading to the patio. Bedroom 2: Queen-size bed with a view of the front of the house. House was clean and big enough for stay. Really enjoyed the outside covered patio for hanging out and cooking. Water was nice but need water shoes since lots of sticks and fuzzies. U can jump off doc but only about 4.5 ft there. Beds were comfy. Issue with ac but property managers had someone out the day of our stay and also had them come back out the next day per our request. Only confusion was the automated messages you get for check in, but the property managers called us and we were able to clear it up quickly. Great communication through text and quick responses. Overall great visit and would stay again. Had kids ages 6 mths -20 and everyone seemed happy. Outside garage frog has a queen bed and sofa twin bed and fridge. The property was experiencing a problem with ants and roaches. The air conditioning in the detached apartment wasn’t working. The owners did get a technician out the second day to fix it. Landscapers came out at 7:30am the second day and woke everyone up. The third day the maintenance technicians came back out and were fixing various issues around the property. There were issues with ants and roaches in and outside of the house. There was a stray dog that would occasionally walk around the property. The outdoor grill area had not been cleaned and the outdoor fireplace wasn’t working, we had to clean the burner to get it to light. The house had a set of “cornhole” boards but no bags. Had a few issues. Received a message on check in day that cleaning took longer and was not ready-were offered a later check out time to compensate and accepted. The home listing advertised a hot rub. On arrival there was note on counter stating the hot tub was out of order. Messaged owner who responded that the hot rub was not part of the rental. We shared that it was advertised with hot tub and that we could send screen shots of their vrbo home description. Received an apology response message. As we were unloading belongings at check in, we received a message to please not leave door open as it could let insects in. We left door open for a few minutes as we were bringing in luggage. Noticed 2 cameras outside in front, one in back & on the side of home. Cameras were not disclosed in the vrbo description of this home. Also, there was an old bracket for a camera in the kitchen by the stairs-no current camera- but that, along with message as we were unloading, was unsettling. Twice during our stay people approached the home. The first said he was looking for a resort and the next said he was looking at the view. The description advertised a gameroom but left out that it has no AC-kids would have liked to spend time there but too hot. Owner said they would refund 15 % due to amenities not as described & we felt that was fair, but they have not followed through with what they promised.
