The room is spacious. The beds are ok. Bathroom shower was small and did not drain well. The room was a little dated. It is a short walk to theatre and city centre. The staff were very nice.

Leider war das Zimmer für das, was wir bekommen hatten viel zu teuer. Ich finde 111 Euro für ein Zimmer bei dem Wasser aus dem Bad ins Schlafzimmer läuft und die Fugen im Bad geschimmelt sind schon sehr steil. Zumal Gießen jetzt auch keine Großstadt ist

Wir haben anstatt dem gebuchten Doppelzimmer ein Einzelzimmer bekommen. Auf Nachfrage gab es wenigstens einen zweiten Bettbezug und zwei Handtücher. Da das Hotel ausgebucht war, gab es keine Alternative, obwohl wir schon vor Wochen gebucht haben.

Gute Ortslage, Innenstadt zu Fuß schnell erreichbar. Parkplatzmöglichkeit bis 19h fast nur mit Parkschein auch in den umliegenden Straßen. Service perfekt.

Die Unterkunft ist leider so hellhörig, dass man jedes Gespräch aus den Nachbarzimmern mitbekommt. Die Holzfenster waren sehr ramponiert und waren wohl Mitte des letzten Jahrhunderts eingebaut worden. Die Badezimmertür ließ sich nur mit roher Gewalt schließen und die Fernbedienung des Fernsehers funktionierte nicht. Insgesamt keine Empfehlung.

Frische Brötchen kamen erst nach dem wir mit dem Frühstück fertig waren. Wir mussten die vom Vortag essen. Das angeschlossene kroatische Restaurant hat freundliches Personal aber das Essen ist leider nicht zu empfehlen. Die Fleischgerichte viel zu trocken. Die Dame am Hotelempfang war sehr freundlich. Die Bettwäsche scheint aus Polyester zu sein. Wir schwitzten ungewöhnlich trotz geöffnetem Fenster und einer Außentemperatur von ca. 6 Grad.

Nettes, sehr zentral gelegenes Hotel in Gießen mit einem sehr guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Die Damen an der Rezeption waren sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer des doch schon älteren Hotels sind zweckmäßig eingerichtet, modernisiert und äußerst sauber. Morgens findet man ein liebevoll gerichtetes, reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet vor, das alle Geschmäcker bedient. Persönlich bin ich bereits das dritte mal Gast im Hotel gewesen und wie immer begeistert.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral zu Innenstadt, Kino, Restaurants, Cafés, usw. und ist trotzdem ruhig. Wir hatten zwei unschöne Erlebnisse am ersten Abend: die Eingangstür ließ sich bei Rückkehr am Abend zunächst nicht öffnen. Hier war zum Glück im benachbarten Restaurant noch Betrieb, sodass wir eingelassen und das technische Problem der Tür schnell behoben werden konnte. Vor der schlafen stellten wir dann erschrocken fest, dass die Verbindungstüf zum Nebenzimmer nicht abgeschlossen war - auch der dort bereits schlafende Gast war davon wohl nicht positiv überrascht. Da die Rezeption nach 22 Uhr nicht mehr besetzt war, konnte dieser Zustand erst am folgenden morgen geändert werden - nicht beruhigend für unsere erste Nacht. Das Personal reagiere allerdings freundlich und schnell, und man kam uns bei Abreise dann finanziell entgegen. Wir würden wiederkommen.
