I ran water in all the drains, opened the windows, and it went away. But I would recommend if the property manager knows no one has been there for a while, to check it before it is rented. I get that Belgium has a thing for buying your linen, but they knew I was one person and outfitted all three beds and lots of towels. Lastly, they kept trying to charge me to take out the garbage but provided no “required” bags the city mandates. Just provide the bags and instructions. Having said all this it is the n a fantastic location, great access to central Gent. ##### Jason G.
