Op mooie dagen kan je er fijn gaan wandelen of gebruik maken van het grote fijne terras en op mindere dagen is het heerlijk gezellig binnen vertoeven met het geluid van de regen op het dak. De bedden zijn zeer laag wat moeite gaf met het uitstappen. Het bank/slaapbank was ook laag. Het toilet is ook laag en gaf moeite met opstaan. Het huisje ligt laag op een helling en moest met een aantal treden omhoog geklommen worden om op het pad te komen, dit pad was ook moeilijk te belopen omdat het stijl was. Het huisje was niet erg schoon, de pannen waren aangebrand en smerig zodat deze met een staalsponsje gereinigd moesten worden. De braadslee van de oven was heel smerig bruin van het aanbakken. Het vriesgedeelte van de ijskast zat vol met ijs en kon er weinig opgeborgen worden. De televisie was niet te gebruiken, er was geen duidelijke omschrijving hoe deze ingesteld moest worden, er waren wel DVD's aanwezig om die te bekijken. Het keukenraam was niet af te sluiten omdat de sluiting kapot was, en moest met een stuk touw worden vastgezet om te voorkomen dat er iemand naar binnen kwam. Het antwoord op het het bericht naar de eigenaar voor het gebruik van bedlinnen kwam te laat bij ons binnen waardoor we zelf bedlinnen moesten meenemen. We hebben het verblijf wat gepland was van 22 t/m 28 september 2025 op donderdag 25 september 2025 afgebroken en zijn eerder naar huis vertrokken. We hebben de eigenaar bericht gestuurd dat we het huisje niet geschikt vonden voor senioren van 84 en 82 jaar en dat het niet erg schoon was, en dat we eerder naar huis vertrokken zijn en de sleutel op de gewenste plaats in het sleutelkastje opgeborgen hadden. We hebben alleen geen reactie van haar ontvangen. We zullen dit huisje zeker niet aanbevelen aan oudere personen. Met vriendelijke groet, fam. M. v.d. Berg. ##### Marinus B. Het is voorzien van alle gemakken en voelde meteen comfortabel aan. Het inchecken verliep soepel dankzij de duidelijke instructies vooraf. Ook was het prettig dat de airconditioning het huis op een aangename temperatuur hield. Er zijn wel een paar aandachtspunten. De badkamer kan wat extra onderhoud gebruiken: er zit behoorlijk wat kalkaanslag op de douchekop en in het toilet. Ook zou de waterkoker vervangen of goed schoongemaakt mogen worden. Het bed lag op zich prima, maar de matras is vrij dun, wat voor ons wat hard aanvoelde. Al met al zeker een prettig verblijf, met hier en daar wat ruimte voor verbetering. ##### Richard B. Die Bäckerei und ein kleiner Supermarkt sind 10 Autominuten entfernt in Gesves, wo es auch einen Geldautomaten gibt, für das Kajakfahren in Dinant brauchten wir Bargeld. Das Kajakfahren hat viel Spaß gemacht und Sie können einen Spaziergang entlang der Maas genießen. Empfehlenswert ist auch die Hauptstadt der Provinz. ##### Cleo Regina S. Im Kühlschrank befanden sich auch alte Oliven und Käse von den vorherigen (?) Gästen. Ich halte die Toilettenbürste hinsichtlich der Kontamination für gefährlich. Das Haus ist schön und es herrschte viel Ruhe. Aber etwas mehr für die Gäste zu investieren, wäre auch respektvoller gegenüber den Gästen. Meiner Meinung nach würden sie diese jetzt nicht bekommen. Es gibt ein Gästebuch, aber es wird wenig damit gemacht. Viele Spinnweben, die Möbel alt, Bett in Ordnung, das Bad gut. Draußen viele Vögel. Pfannen backen sehr schlecht, man kann kein Ei braten, wenig Geschirr, 1 Weinglas, überall eine Ecke! Die Terrasse draußen ist ein wunderschöner Ort. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön! Modave sehr zu empfehlen, klingeln und Sie können das Schloss betreten! Wunderschön, was für ein Luxus!
