"We had a wondeful 3- night-stay in this amazing authentic Catalan house. We loved how all the details in the house represent traditions and history. Marta and Viktor were amazing making sure we had all we needed. Figueres is a 25 minute drive and other sights are also a short driving from the house. ![Girona’s imperious walls were first built by the Romans but were expanded in the time of Charlemagne in the early 800s and then enlarged again in the 14th century.

They are in a good state today following restoration work, and you can set off on a walk along the ramparts around nearly the whole of the old quarter.

"My room was hot and the AC was turned off in the hotel for the spring. I found a hair from the previous guest on the sink. Other than that, the room was clean. The cleaning staff was friendly and the woman at reception was incredibly kind, helpful and friendly so one star just for her. I found the bed hard and uncomfortable, but my friend who stayed in her own room said she had the best sleep of our entire trip on this night at this hotel in Girona. So take my review for what it’s worth. "

"Amazing location and lovely facilities. I checked in late because my flight was departing at 5:45am, but the staff were very accommodating. As the airport shuttle wasn’t operating at that time, the receptionist kindly arranged a taxi for me. I made the most of my stay by using the swimming pool and dining at the restaurant. I really enjoyed my meal and overall experience, and I look forward to booking again in the future."

"The bedroom was very pleasant and clean and looked like it recently been refurbished. The only downside was the bathroom wall and door was glass and light from the bathroom lit up the bedroom. The staff were very helpful and polite. We were found a table at dinner even though we had not booked and the hotel was busy. Food was good with a reasonable choice at a reasonable price. I would have liked to use the small gym but we had to leave fairly early in the morning. When we next vist Gerona we will stay at this hotel again."
