Dinner took very long to arrive—like 45 mins for chicken pasta, which actually arrived without the chicken. One large group apparently messed things up for the rest of us.

Wonderful resort location in Ontario a reasonably short drive from Toronto. Excellent beautiful location, excellent client care & service, extremely clean, well appointed rooms, beautiful spa, amazing restaurant, great pool area, wonderful friendly staff. Excellent location for destination weddings and special events.

Enjoyed our night.
We started off in a room that was a bit rough. The bathroom door did not latch shut. And the headboard on the bed had staples sticking out of it. We did bring these concerns to the front desk and they did move us to a new room which we then had no concerns with. The rooms were tiny but comfortable. Our only real complaint is that there was no microwave in our room and that there was no mirror out in the bedroom, so it was inconvenient to get ready while someone else was in the bathroom. Also when booking we didn’t realize the smoking policy of having to be way out in the parking lot to have a smoke.

Nice, comfy, quiet, traditional room. We had a lovely time. Staff was warm and friendly. Our couples massage was fantastic and our dinner was very yummy and cooked perfectly.

The room itself was quite average, although the private beach & outdoor activities by the water are very nice. Nice pool and hot tub area as well. Good location for a fall resort.

Well maintained and very polite staff; however don’t expect a queen bed - they are really doubles in queen or king frames. If sleep is important that’s an issue. The facility is nice and average.

Didnt pay much attention to the room I selected at the time but...there is a difference. The room we got was to the right wing of the building as you enter the foyer, and it was pretty poor. Balcony had a bad view and was generally unkempt, the bathroom was small, the room was cold and the furniture was basic. Felt like a room in east Germany post war. We asked for an upgrade and were given a room on the opposite wing and it was like a different hotel. Well appointed, huge room with fireplace, jacuzzi tub (which would never be used by us) and a very nice balcony with a great view. However, even this room was not top notch. The carpet was quite filthy, there was a wine ring on the beside table that wiped off easily confirming the room (and what else?), was not well cleaned. Property was quite nice. The staff at check in was OK, the person who upgraded us to a new room was less than warm and the person who checked us out was awesome. For the price, which started at $275 tax in plus $25 resort fee, became $400 after the upgrade, tax and fees all in. For me, $400 mid week ... not a great value.

I have really liked the place as where i live is quite noisy place and as we have day to day hactic schedules in life, one should definitely come here for the relaxation and serenity, it has a beautiful ambiance, architectural, beach side area, restaurants has delicious food, you have all the other activities to do like jacuzzi tub, pool, kayaking, boating , candle light dinners and bonn fire. Absolutely amazing place to come and ecstatic panorama.

The resort had a nice private beach with paddle board and kayaking as a n option. They should have overnight EV parking for people with electric cars.

Our room could have been cleaner. Sand on floors and fishing line left on floor. Bugs on blinds and cob webs in bathroom hanging from ceiling. Lovely views and staff.

We had a lovely stay at Christie Mills. Staff was excellent especially front desk and the gentleman doing grounds (he made us a beautiful fire at night). Unfortunately the pool was out of service without prior notice which was disappointing. Some areas of the hotel were very tired looking.The washroom in our room was updated which was appreciated. I loved our walkout room on the main floor, the beach was inviting along with all the Muskoka chairs. We did not eat at the resort so I cannot comment.

The hotel , spa and restaurant staff were all exceptional. The food at the beautiful hotel restaurant is fantastic with a good choice of options. The massages at the spa were excellent and so relaxing.

The staff & property were lovely! However, while the rooms are clean, they are a little dated. The spa was beautiful & not busy. Overall- a great stay & we'll definitely return.
