The location was great (though the fish factory beside it is noisy and busy during the day), beach and playground were near. The check in was easy, property manager was very responsive and the property was just as it displayed online. Walking into this property immediately gives the feel and excitement for vacation as the floors were like nothing we have seen before. While the weather did not cooperate there was plenty of room to gather and relax in the main area. Plenty of room for five adults. Very unique and comfortable stay. Lots of bathrooms and the beds were comfortable.we loved the big table so we could sit together and eat, play games, talk together. The house was nice but there were a few issues: -A/C only on the first floor, 2nd floor was a sauna -you cannot open the windows to get a cross breeze on the 2nd floor as only 2 windows had screens (mosquitoes were plentiful) -the hot tub was dirty, lots of sand and dirty foam -many of the items in the cutlery drawer were sticky so we had to wash -there were 3 forks and 4 spoons for 5 people, we asked for more but were never given more -coffee maker did not work -no check in information, we arrived at 4pm sharp and were not told how to get in until we contacted the property. -only one set of keys for 5 people -no soap in two bathrooms -no shampoo in 2 bathrooms -industrial dishwasher not operable -no screens in most windows -railings not installed on deck stairs (hazard) -no glass or plexiglass in deck railings -smoke detector not installed -no escape from second floor -no mirror in one bathroom The second floor is only accessed from the spiral staircase, this is not easy with luggage! And many of the treads have loose screws and one was cracked I would not recommend this spot in the heat of summer due to the AC situation, and I would not recommend for families as it is not child safe. ##### Joann R. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit. If I could suggest a few things to make our stay slightly better it would be more curtains/blackout curtains, a showerhead that can be adjusted to avoid water spraying out of the bottom of the door, better pillows, and a few extra household items (e.g. hand soap and sponge in kitchen).Thank you again for hosting us in your lovely Georgetown! We enjoyed having a restaurant across the street, strolling along the walkway, ocean view and relaxation in the hot tub. The owner was a great communicator and this place had lots of room with great cleanliness. It was a lovely little town to be our home base while we explored the island.
