The back porch sits along a stream and there are two other outdoor sitting areas to relax and enjoy the wonderful nature show. Your view will include bluebirds playing the in the trees and fantastic mountain views. The walk to the main street of town is in the 100s of feet! This two bedroom home was built in the late 1800s so has all the character of a historic home but the convenience of a kitchen and bathroom that were updated in 2018\. Your creature comforts include two adorable bedrooms with very comfortable beds. Each room has independent heating and can be adjusted for your personal preference. A cute bathroom with a soaking tub and all the amenities to relax and enjoy after a great day of skiing, hiking, riding, walking or whatever! (It is your vacation!) A cozy living/dining area with very comfortable furniture to relax, play games, or watch television. A nice fully equipped and updated kitchen with soft close cabinets, appliances, washer dryer. The drive to the nearest ski area, Loveland, is 11 miles. You feel a million miles from the city and can relax in this location while being about an hour from Denver. The shower is in the clawfoot bathtub; a consideration if anyone in your party has a challenge stepping up. In the summer you can open the windows a little and relax to the sound of the water running in the stream. This is one of my favorite places to be and I hope it will be yours too. The kitchen is incredibly well-stocked, beds are incredibly comfortable, and the patio by the creek outside are beautiful. The cottage has all the charm (and quirks) of a historic house. It was well situated for us to stay and be a short drive to hiking trailheads. It holds some quaint furniture to add to the nostalgia of the cottage. The updated kitchen was great for home cooking, which we prefer. Plenty of utensils and supplies for food prep and feeding the family. Loved the stream running along side of the property and the patio held comfortable chairs. The main street of Georgetown is a short walk around the corner and was enjoyable to explore. Georgetown lake and other great locals are within a short distance.The owner was easy to reach and responded quickly to my inquires. The only things of note are that the bathtub is much smaller then expected. It is a small claw foot tub and the shower curtain clings to you as you shower. Also, the kitchen cabinets are full so there is nowhere to store dry goods or personal items. Other than that, we enjoyed this cottage and would highly recommend it. ##### Kim B.
