It is a self-managed hotel so there is no one on the premise to help you but the manager answered the phone since I didn’t receive any check in information ahead. The pool was not in operation but the room and bathroom is very spacious and clean. The spot was also quiet. The room needed more cleaning. The patio furniture was covered in cobwebs, the carpet was dirty, the furniture was dirty, and the shade sail was in tatters and banging on the window. In addition the heat lamp in the bathroom plus lighting was flickering on and off and we stopped using it as it appeared unsafe. Overall the propety was badly in need of maintenance and cleaning and didn't look like it had been given any attention prior to our arrival. Given we paid over $250 per night, I expected more for this price. The person on reception displayed a bit of an attitude at times, which was un necessary and unhelpful.
