All bedroom suites are located within the same house footprint on the same ground floor level. Over 3200 square feet of space inside and 1200 square feet outside on the porch. The beach is right on your doorstep! Fibre Optic Internet service over 250MBS hardwire speed !!!! in addition to Wifi mesh system we have hardwired ethernet port in each bedroom. The owners pride themselves on maintaining this house and its amenities to the highest standards. The kitchen is a gourmet dream and with 2 refrigerators you will never run out of space for cold drinks! Note that VRBO charges a variable Guest Service Fee which is not credited to the Homeowner. At $8540.00 USD per week (7 nights), the cost per couple equates to $305.00 per night per bedroom suite based on a 4 couple occupancy . Note that as of May 2025 a mandatory 10% Bahamas VAT tax will be included in the rate. Notwithstanding the cancellation policy limits by VRBO- We will always endeavor to re-arrange your dates if for some reason refunds are not possible due to VRBO rules. The house is well suited for 8 adults with possible space for 2 to 4 children depending on the age of the children. Children would sleep in the same room as the parents on the futon couch/bed or in the available portable Pack N Play or crib. (additional charges apply) Located on one of the most beautiful beaches in Great Exuma and only an 8 minute drive from the Georgetown International Airport. It is central to all activities on the island but still on a very private stretch of beach. Walk for miles on our beach. Many direct flights from Toronto (3.5hrs), Florida (1 hour), Atlanta ( 2 hrs) and Nassau (35min)serve this carefree, casual and quaint island. Exuma provides a perfect balance of simplicity and amenities for families, executives, couples and friends wanting to escape the stresses of work and everyday life. If you love white sand, pristine waters, surfing, snorkeling, golfing, fishing, scuba diving, boating, fresh fish and friendly people...then you will fall in love with Great Exuma. The house offers a 1100 square foot Great Room with lounging, media and dining areas. There are four-500 square foot, King-size master suites with ensuites bathrooms that include a combination of walk in showers, soaking tubs and private toileting areas (see floor plan) . The gourmet kitchen offers solid surface counters, double refrigerators, dishwasher, induction cooktop and everything needed for preparing great meals. Nearby restaurants and in-house chef services are also available. A 1200 square foot wrap around porch, overlooking the beach, provides outdoor living areas next to the sparkling, warm waters of Exuma where an outdoor Barbeque area complements the gourmet kitchen. This is one of the best beaches and houses in Exuma. There are No hotels or public beach access permitted along our beach which keeps it quiet. You are often the only people on the beach but it is still central to all island amenities making this location the most convenient on all of Great Exuma. A car is recommended. Within eight minutes of leaving the airport you will be sipping a cool drink on the white sand beach beside the emerald waters of Tar Bay. The bay is protected by a reef a mile away and the sandy bottom and shallow waters are safe for kids. The crystal clear waters are ideal for snorkeling and on a calm day kayaking is a must. The summer water temperature is 85 degrees. A short 8 minute drive east you will find the charming and friendly town of Georgetown, capital of this island archipelago of 3800 permanent residents. You will find everything you need for meal and drink preparation, satisfy your urge to shop at the straw market and boutiques and visit interesting historic sites. Order up some fresh Lobster, Grouper, Tuna or Mahi Mahi from the local fisherman and they will deliver it to the house. This is a low key, laid back island with none of the hustle and bustle of tourist destinations- perfect for a relaxing vacation - Don't expect casinos, fast food restaurants and designer shopping here. The Exumas will offer a vacation where you reconnect with yourself and your family and friends. Rent a boat, or hire an experienced captain from Minn's boat rentals to explore the clear, calm waters of Elizabeth Harbour. Don't forget to see the crustaceans at Starfish Beach and visit Sand Dollar beach. A freshly made conch salad and cold Kalik beer at Big D's or Chat and Chill on Stocking Island is a necessity for this boat trip. If boat rental is not an option for you then a water taxi will get you to Stocking island where you can partake in the fun with other sailors, visitors and locals. Have fun with a game of beach volleyball on the sand court , sip an icy Bahama Mama cocktail on a beach chair or feed the domesticated stingrays that hang out looking for food and a stroke on the back. The love of water is probably the greatest attraction to Exuma. Here you can take your pick of Scuba diving (Dive Exuma), Parasurfing, snorkelling and even surfing on the ocean side of Stocking Island. Bone-fishing enthusiasts know that Exuma is top-ranked for this sport. There are many charter companies available for hire for deep sea fishing too.. SORRY but we do not permit beach fishing on our beach as we wish to keep predator fish away from our safe swimming waters. Exuma is like home. Friendly, relaxing and inviting. FROM TORONTO: Air Canada Direct seasonal flights are available from Toronto on Sundays . Expect normal return flight costs between $950 and $1300 depending on the dates. Delta also connects from YYZ through Atlanta to GGT FROM USA: Daily Direct Flights to Georgetown (GGT) are also available via Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Charlotte, Atlanta with the large airlines (Delta and AA). Return flight costs can vary from $500 to $1500\. It was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay, and being steps away from the amazing blue water was the icing on the cake! The only thing that would have made it better would be the A/C in the living areas-it struggled to keep cool and sometimes felt like it wasn't working. We brought it up to the house manager the first night and she did call the A/C company out to look at it, but they found nothing wrong. We were met by her property manager and assistant manager Esther and Angel upon arrival. They were amazing and were always willing to answer quests and assist us with whatever we needed. The beach access was remarkable and had no rocks in the area of it which was nice with kiddos, the additional they had there was nice as well (paddle boards, kayaks, snorkel gear). The inside was stocked with all kinds of games and movies and a PS3 that the oldest loved. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and will be back to Nemo House the next time we come back! ##### Aaron D. Have stayed at a lot of properties all over and this one was one of, if not, the best most complete property. Location is amazing and beach/water is incredible. I would highly recommend this property to anyone traveling to Exuma. Layout was perfect for our two families (4 adults and 5 kids). From large bedrooms and bathrooms to a well-stocked kitchen, this home has it all. The soft white sand in front of the house made a wonderful playground for our 2-year-old daughter. Our 15- and 17-year-olds had fun snorkeling on the calm ocean days and learned how to boogie board on the wavy ocean days. There was one cold and rainy day while we visited, so we took advantage of the variety of board games and movies stocked. We are already trying to figure out when we can make a return visit. This home is also centered on the island. It's a short 35-minute drive either north or south to explore the other ends of the island. If you decide to book this home, you will not be disappointed. The Nemo house was a wonderful place to stay. The beds are really comfortable and the kitchen is amazingly well appointed. We used the grill several times during our stay as well. The bay in front of the house is just amazing - clear blue water and the rocks to the left of the house we called our "hot tub pools". We love the way everything is plainly labeled. It was too windy to use the toys but we enjoyed strolling the beach. It's a pain to pay for things with cash, especially when they give change in Bahama money, but we found out why. We used the credit card at one store and the information was stolen and used in US the next day. The airport rental car was a joke - 7 caution lights on the dash and window would not roll up (and raining). Upgrade would have been worth it. ##### Dick M.
