On the western side of the charming town of Nervi, the apartment enjoys uninterrupted sea views. It makes an ideal base for a beach holiday, combined with hiking, and exploring the coastal towns as well as the fascinating city of Genoa. The apartment is full of light and catches the sea breezes, as there are windows on three sides. The decor is simple but stylish, with wooden and black and white tiled floors throughout. The living room is furnished with a combination of antique and contemporary pieces including a corner sofa, flat-screen TV and a coffee table. French windows open onto the private balcony with stunning views over the Ligurian Sea. The balcony has chairs and table for guests to relax with a cup of coffee or sundowners. The separate dining room is off the living room, and also enjoys sea views. There is an elegant glass table with chairs, and bookcases. The adjacent kitchen is through an archway and decorated with as much care and attention as the rest of the apartment. It is equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine and a fridge/freezer. There is a small table with chairs for quick snacks. Sleeping Bedroom 1: The master bedroom has a double bed and extensive mirrored wardrobes. Bedroom 2: The second bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds and a wardrobe. Bathroom The attractive, spacious bathroom has a shower, a full bath, 2 wash basins, bidet and WC. Additional • Free wifi • Balcony • Central heating • Fan • Flat-screen TV • Washing machine • Hair dryer • Child-friendly • Private parking - car not necessary Location Nervi was once a small fishing village and visitors can see the old harbour, the Porticciolo di Nervi (5 minute walk), with its restaurants and panoramic walks. The residence is conveniently located close to shops (supermarket 2 minutes walk) and other amenities. It is a lively suburb of Genoa. Getting into the city centre is easy as there is Genoa Quinto railway station just 3 minutes drive from the apartment. Two of the city’s must-see sites are the Romanesque cathedral of San Lorenzo and the monumental Piazza De Ferrari. Genoa’s vibrant port area (25 minutes) is home to the modern Aquarium of Genoa, which is worth a visit. As is the neighbouring Porto Antico, a huge cultural space with many events, exhibitions and great places to eat out. For guests who want to relax by the sea, there are several beaches and lido’s along the coast, including the Spiaggia di Caprafico below the apartment and the Spiaggia Murcarolo, just a 7 minute walk along the seafront. La superbe cabine de douche électronique n'a jamais fonctionné durant tout notre séjour , ce qu'a pu constater un technicien venu en soirée le vendredi alors que nous l avons signalé le mardi Douche tres inconfortable dans la baignoire sans paravent ni rideau de douche, baignoire sans bouchon ni bec verseur lorsque on ouvre le robinet, l eau gicle dans la salle de bain qui ne dispose d'aucun tapis de bain. Sur le seul fauteuil présent sur le balcon, il manque un accoudoir et on ne peut pas s'y asseoir car le siège est enfoncé et décousu... 3 poignées de volets sont cassées. Absence de torchon dans la cuisine, tres peu de couvert et un seul verre à vin oreiller plein d'auréole jaunes, dans un état inacceptable Le dernier jour nous constatons que dans l arrière cour de l'immeuble, des escaliers descendent sur les rochers jusqu'à la mer. Il est fort regrettable que ceci n'ait pas été signalé à notre arrivée. Malgré tous nos appels durant notre séjour, nous n'avons jamais rencontré quelqu'un de l équipe locale d'Happy Rental En conclusion, cet appartement a un potentiel exceptionnel de part son emplacement et sa surface dommage qu'il soit si mal géré. En fin de sejour, happy Rental conscient du désastre nous a dédommagé de 250 euros..... ##### Véronique D. Séjour de 6 nuits en août 2024 ### 6/10 – Acceptable #### Lacey T. 25 déc. 2024 #### Some nice aspects but disappointing Location was excellent as the view was great and you could walk to several restaurants. Trying to find the key to get into the apartment was very stressful as the key was not located as described. I tried calling the property manager but he hung up on me, so I reached out via VRBO who put me in touch with someone else with the renting agency. He was not the property manager but was helpful. Parking was included but that was another headache to deal with as it was not as listed so after several emails back and forth we finally figured out where it was. In the apartment, the floor was really dirty as you could even see shoe prints and there was a weird moldy smell in the kitchen. The shower was not a standard shower and it did not work or if it did there were no instructions on how to use. There was a bathtub but had no stopper to hold water and it had a spray nozzle so you could shower but there was no curtain so bathing/showering was a challenge. The washing machine did not work which was really disappointing because that is one reason I chose to rent the place. I really needed to do laundry so had to wash everything by hand which is not really wanted to do on my vacation! The tea pot leaked and the coffee maker had mold in the bottom of it so I could not enjoy a coffee on the balcony like I had hoped to. Overall the apartment was spacious, in a good location, and it had an elevator so it could be a really nice place; however, I think it is sorely mismanaged. ##### Lacey T.
