Guest Access: Entire Condo The Neighborhood: This condo is located within walking distance of the Gatlinburg Parkway! It is in the Laurel Inn Condos! There is a back set of steps down near the pool that leads you straight into downtown Gatlinburg, TN! You can also go out in front of the condos and take a sidewalk all the way into downtown! It's about 0.3 miles to the middle of downtown Gatlinburg, TN! The location is tremendous! Getting Around: All paved roads to the condo. We recommend 4x4 wheel drive at any condo in Gatlinburg and/or the mountains as well as this one. It's easy to reach the condo and in downtown Gatlinburg, TN! You can walk into downtown Gatlinburg, TN which saves you a good bit of money on parking! Other Things to Note: • We always recommend a 4x4 drive for anywhere in the Great Smoky Mountains. The condo features paved roads all the way to it, and without any inclement weather, any car should be fine, but again, we recommend 4x4 wheel drive when visiting the area. This condo is located in downtown Gatlinburg, TN, and within walking distance to the Parkway • Gas fireplaces are seasonal and operate from October–March, depending on the weather • Coffee maker is a regular drip and Keurig — bring your own coffee • The condo is located on the 4th floor and has an elevator • Laundry facilities are pay-per-use and located on the 1st floor of the complex • The outdoor pool usually opens around Memorial Day and closes at the end of August — dates may change without notice and are managed by the HOA • Any pool maintenance or closures are controlled by the HOA and may occur without notice • Hot tub is drained, sanitized, and refilled between each guest stay. It may need time to reach full temperature on the check-in day. • Starter supplies of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, and laundry detergent are provided. • Guests agree to use the website messenger for all communication, even if initial contact is made by another method. • Bears and all types of wildlife are very common in the area! Do not feed or bother the bears or wildlife! Please leave them alone. We have no control over wildlife. They are very protected here and part of our area. Secure your belongings and always lock vehicle doors. • We have monthly pest control at all of our cabins. Being in the Great Smoky Mountains, we are surrounded by nature and wildlife. Ladybugs, millipedes, and other insects can be difficult to combat around this time of year, even with our constant pest control program in place. It is not uncommon to see them occur in and around the cabin/condo, especially with the opening and closing of doors. This is extremely common for the area and all cabins/condos. And I got like 10 reminders about checking out on time and what was expected of me as the guest but the attention to the guest is completely lost on this rental. Reminded me of a college dorm room. If you expect the guest to remove the sheets might be good for you to actually wash the mattress cover it had a lot of stains and possibly recent bodily fluids. Disgusting discovery after I just slept in the bed for 5 days. Overall it was on the cheaper side but not as clean and cozy as the pictures provided.and then there was an envelope left that requested a tip, the tip is to hire a new cleaning crew. ![Hot tub faucet leaks almost a stream. Bathroom is TINY and definitely shows some wear. Could use more towels. Due to condo location in building it was always very dark in living area :( Couch was uncomfortable. The condo was up a steep incline so walking back was a rough trek. We even attempted the back walkway and was still not much better. Overall the room was clean. Some of the jets in the hot tub were broken and wouldnt stay in place. Shower water pressure wasnt that great. We couldnt figure out how to lock the door for the longest time. Eventually after hitting random buttons, it locked. Had plenty of amenities: microwave, fridge, stove and plenty of plates and cups etc. We didnt use anything but was nice to have just in case. Bed was comfortable with plenty of blankets and pillows. Communication was ok. It was well kept and very clean. We felt safe in the surroundings. There was also good communication with the host. The walk to the strip is further than the description depicts, be forewarned. My friends and I booked this place in order to be in walking distance from the convention center to watch a national dance competition, and the Laurel Inn was the perfect location. The property manager was also easy to contact and quick to respond with any questions or concerns that we had. I would gladly stay here again if I come to Gatlinburg in the future! ##### Madison R. We very much enjoyed our stay! It was perfect for a weekend getaway. Owner was very responsive and helpful. Only hiccups we had were figuring out how to get into down, but once we did, the walk was nice! One of the benefits of this property was the Jacuzzi that fit two! We could not get the jets working, but it was still great for a soak after our walks into town. Quiet area that had a view. Check in process was easy and property manager was quick to answer and great to work with. The only reason I gave a 4 out of 5 was because the condo had definitely not been swept before arrival. Otherwise, everything else was clean and just as shown in listing. This condo was so clean and nice. Its in a great location to downtown. Eveything was beautifully decorated. Although we had some issues working the tv, the host communicated with us in a timely manner. Thank you for allowing us to stay and enjoy our anniversary in your beautiful condo! The unit was nicely updated, very cozy and nicely appointed. Location was great too. Very central, although the building is at the top of a hill so icy conditions could make driving tough and you have a pretty big staircase to go down if you’re walking to the strip. That said, the stairs to walk really aren’t bad and are super convenient. Renters were great with communication and proactive. 10/10 would recommend!! ##### Ty K.
