Does the cabin have any games or activities? The cabin features a pool table and air hockey table. There is also a Bowl Master video bowling arcade game. Some board games and playing cards are provided as well. Additionally, there is a movie theater room with 12 theater style seats and 85" TV. There is also a 10 person jacuzzi on the bottom patio overlooking the mountains. What are the roads like to get to the cabin? It is very easy to get to the cabin as the roads are wide and paved. Is there parking? There is parking, only 4 cars may be parked at this cabin per HOA rules. Are there bears? Yes! We have bears roaming around the area and see them often. While they generally do not interact with humans please use extreme caution if you see a bear and please do NOT feed them. Is the cabin close to nearby attractions? Yes! The cabin overlooks the city lights of downtown Gatlinburg and you will be less than a 10 minute drive down to the action. The cabin is also just minutes from the Smoky Mountain National Park as well as the new observation bridge, the largest in North America! It is also less than a 10 minute drive to the Ober ski resort. Is smoking permitted? No smoking is allowed inside the cabin or on its decks. We encourage our guests to purchase travel insurance as a hedge against unseen circumstances that may affect travel plans, including COVID-19\. VRBO provides the opportunity to purchase insurance upon booking. Currently there is no restriction on travel to our area, the area is open 100% for businesses and our property will be ready for you as stated in the rental agreement. It has great amenities for a family including plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, hot tub, and a game and theater room. It is very new and clean and everything is well-labeled (especially in the kitchen!). If you plan to spend a lot of time in the National park, this location is just a 6-minute drive. Our family of 11 stayed at Big Sky Lodge for our annual Christmas gathering. It was by far the best cabin we have stayed in and we all come to Gatlinburg often. The location was perfect for access to Gatlinburg, Ober Mountain, and Cades Cove. The main floor was very spacious and was able to hold our large family. This cabin has stunning views of the mountains. We loved the spacious open floor plan on the main level. The decor was tasteful and modern but still had a warm and whimsical cabin feel and super fun bear theming. We loved the 3 levels of balconies and the long windows and sliding doors that let us take full advantage of the beautiful scenery. The beds and couches were extremely comfortable. We had everything we needed for cooking and dining and felt the hosts had put a lot of thought into providing for every need. For example, they provided a nice basket of towels for the hot tub, hooks in handy places, extra blankets, usb ports in the nightstand, labeled light switches, guides for using the television, and appliances such as a griddle and crockpot. We appreciated the huge kitchen island and long table where everyone could eat together. When we had a question, the host was quick to respond and very helpful. Kids loved the game room and hot tub. Additionally, (and perhaps most important to me) we found it to be extremely clean! This property will be at the top of our list next time we need a rental in Gatlinburg! ##### Kimberly P. The bedrooms were cozy, comfortable and plenty of bathrooms for our party of 10\. Balconies were spacious and the downstairs pool room and separate movie room were extra special. Outside this area there was a large hot tub! The top floor housed a walk through area with four bunk beds, then three bedrooms and 4 baths. The drive to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge was very short about 7 minutes. The drive up the mountain was not as we had feared. Before arriving, zach sent us information regarding check-in, along with recommendations for things to do in the area. This area is very nice and the views were spectacular. It was spacious enough for a group of 12 to stay comfortably together and the view was absolutely amazing! The road is a little twisty getting there and we did have a couple of bear sightings (really exciting from a distance!), but other than that the location is good. Not too far away from everything, but not too close either. Our only real gripe was that it wasn't as clean as we expected. Based on the reviews on cleanliness, this had to be an isolated occurrence. Our socks and feet got dirty from walking around on the floors on day one. We went ahead and cleaned the floors ourselves and contacted Zack. He said he'd speak with his cleaning crew as that was unacceptable. Great communication! As I stated, the cleaning crew must've just had an off day. He even had someone come right out and fix the locks the same day that we told him about the issue. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. ##### Leroy S.
