Getting Around: We always recommend 4x4 wheel drive for any condo in The Great Smoky Mountains to be extra safe. Paved roads all the way up and paved parking, too. Other Things to Note: • Must be 21 or older to book this condo • This condo sleeps 4 guests maximum • We always recommend a 4x4 drive for anywhere in the Great Smoky Mountains. The condo features paved roads all the way up, and without any inclement weather, any car should be fine, but again, we recommend 4x4 wheel drive when visiting the area • Fireplace is wood-burning — bring your own firewood • Coffee maker is a Keurig — bring your own K-Cups • The Summit Condos of Gatlinburg offers an outdoor pool (seasonal), indoor pool and hot tub (year-round), playground, game room (pay), and washer/dryer facilities (pay) • Outdoor pool usually opens around Memorial Day and closes around the end of August — exact dates subject to change without notice by the HOA • Indoor pool and hot tub are open year-round — availability subject to change at any time by the HOA • Any maintenance, pool closures, or amenity restrictions are managed by the HOA and may occur without notice. Secure your belongings and always lock vehicle doors. • We have monthly pest control at all of our cabins. Being in the Great Smoky Mountains, we are surrounded by nature and wildlife. Ladybugs, millipedes, and other insects can be difficult to combat around this time of year, even with our constant pest control program in place. It is not uncommon to see them occur in and around the cabin/condo, especially with the opening and closing of doors. This is extremely common for the area and all cabins/condos. We found this place mainly for the view and being outside of downtown Gatlinburg. The condo was nice and clean. Property manager had great communication and we were able to get there at night with no problems. its a bit scary driving the roads to the condo but just take it slow. The view of mountain side is just beautiful and definitely worth staying. The complex has a small indoor pool and jacuzzi. Condo has everything you need to cook a meal. Water pressure was very good, hot water and again the place is very clean. The room is a bit noisy especially if there are little kids upstairs but pass 10pm its quiet. Overall I recommend this beautiful mountainside condo. ##### Kenneth M. We were slightly skeptical of the images online because usually people photoshop or enhance their images but this property actually delivered on what their photos represented. The view was amazing, the windows by the bed and porch were favorite areas, especially in the morning and evening for relaxing. The weather turned out to be immaculate and was refreshing in this space. You can get nature and civilization mixed with balance. We were not crazy about gatlinburg as a city due to the intense presence of, what seemed to be, chronic political presence so it did not feel like a welcoming/safe place in town. But the forestry, hiking trails and nature destinations were extremely open, welcoming/inviting and had a great sense of community. It was a wonderful spot for meeting people on hikes who valued the nature elements and to see beautiful scenery. We came with the intent and purpose of seeing nature anyway, so we would highly recommend this property for that, but I personally would not recommend gatlinburg’s downtown. The property owner was communicative and awesome too. They provided ample information and avenues for receiving any help we may need. We were a bit sad to leave because the studio was so cozy and had such a beautiful view, which was a great indicator that we would recommend this spot. ##### Brennan W.
