Overflowing with mountain charm and nestled in the woods, Misty Hollow is the ideal place for a large family to enjoy the perfect Great Smoky Mountains getaway. Ideally situated, you’ll feel like you’re a million miles from the city even though you are actually only a few short miles from both downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge with their abundance of entertainment and dinning options to choose from. Misty Hollow’s perfect location also situates you less than 10 minutes from the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Plus, you are only a few short miles drive from all of the action at the Ober Gatlinburg Ski Mountain or you can forget the drive and take the scenic tram from downtown Gatlinburg. The location and accessibility alone of this charming cabin is more than enough to draw visitors to Misty Hollow, but that would be shortchanging this incredible mountain getaway that is overflowing with amenities that is sure to make your vacation perfect. When you drive up to Misty Hollow, you will be pleased to discover its spacious paved parking area out front that makes it so convenient to unload your car. Walk through the front door and you will be greeted by a large living room full of windows and natural light. A stacked-stone fireplace and two comfy couches await you. Settle in and watch your large flat-screen TV complete with Blu-Ray player. Beautiful wood planked floors and cathedral ceilings make this room a wonderful and welcoming space that you are sure to spend many hours making memories with your family. Walk through the sliding glass door out on to your large private deck where you will have a beautiful view of the nature scape that surrounds the cabin. This is also where you will find your large bubbling hot tub. After a day of hiking or enjoying the local attractions, this hot tub will be just what your body needs to soothe those aching muscles. The back deck also features plenty of chairs and a table making it the perfect place where you can sit and enjoy your morning coffee or an evening cocktail as you take in the soothing sounds of nature. If you are not in the mood to cook while on vacation, then you certainly shouldn’t. There are over 60 excellent restaurants in and around Gatlinburg all within a 10-minute drive that would love to have you visit. However, if you would like to cook in your mountain home, Misty Hollow provides a fully equipped kitchen with all of the serving ware, appliances and cookware you will need to prepare an unforgettable meal for your family. The lower floor is also where you will find the cabin’s laundry room complete with a stacked washer/dryer unit as well as iron and ironing board. This bedroom features a spacious layout with king-sized bed, large windows and closet storage. It’s located close to the Gatlinburg Parkway so great for access to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge but not too far up a mountain to impact access. Communication with the hosts could not be bettered, lots of information before our stay and during. This was a great place for our family of nine to stay! Six adults-and three children, 5 and under. we each had our own private bedroom and bathroom. Our daughter and son-in-law were able to have the privacy of the downstairs to themselves with their children. Cabin looks exactly like the pictures! Well stocked kitchen for meal prep. Bring your own blender if you prefer smoothies-and want to make special adult beverages. there is a large charcoal grill there however we brought our Blackstone and found that much easier to use versus waiting on charcoal. Every time you want to eat. There is no view of the mountains inside the cabin but you can see them while you are grilling outdoors and or taking a walk. We saw several bears throughout our visit! There are three locations within the HOA that offer pools and other activities! Very close to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and the Smoky Mountain National Park! It’s a centralized location between Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg. Great communication & amenities. We knew to aways lock the car doors, but 1 time we forgot & the owners used the camera alarm to help scare the bear off. Luckily no damage in my car. Thanks for that & a great week! ##### Marlo R. Loved that they had a camera outside the property facing the vehicles. Just remember to lock your car doors because I found out first hand Bears can in fact open car doors haha ##### Ryan F. If anyone, is visiting I would recommend this property. Because the amenities in the cabin were awesome and in a great location to everything. Lastly, the host had great communication throughout this entire process. The instructions were clear and the host made this process easy. One of a kind! Beautiful, scenic & easy access once arriving in Gattlinburg. Misty Hollow was so clean & wonderfully decorated that my family and I felt right at home as soon as we walked into the cabin! Perfectly located right between Pigeon Forge and Gattlinburg (both minutes away!), that we had to have a family meeting every morning to figure out which! Lol Hands down the ABSOLUTE best and most beautiful cabin we've stayed at on out many trips to Gattlinburg!We'll be back! Thanks so much, Johnathan and Christine! ##### William G.
