The owner is an excellent communicator, always answering questions or addressing concerns immediately. Be aware: You likely will receive a visit from curious bears, always looking for food. The garbage is safely secured and the grill is a favorite for the very cute baby bears and mother, but we had no threat. Common sense should prevail...no food left in cars, locked, and keep your doors locked. Always clean the grill, but they will visit anyway. Gatlinburg is a short drive, but there are no Ubers or other transportation from the house. Not a problem, but it helps to know. Bent Creek Golf course is great, challenging and very scenic, particularly on the back nine. Staff were very welcoming. The course is quite busy on weekends, but weekdays more relaxed. The house is well stocked, and we always add a few kitchen items, etc., to be good guests. The beds were comfortable, and kitchen updated. The washer and dryer were bonus. Great WiFi connectivity. Caution: the road up the mountain requires full attention. Very narrow and challenging, but all asphalted. Overall, an excellent experience and highly recommend! ##### Lisa R. I didn’t realize when we booked it that it was so far away from everything. We pretty much had to plan out everything we wanted to do for the day before coming back for the night because it was a good 40 minute drive one way to the main attractions and dining. I also thought the pool was in walking distance. We honestly never even saw the pool, as it was not near us. The refrigerator in the cabin did not work. We contacted the manager and he said he would send someone out to look at it, but I don’t think anyone ever came and he never messaged us back about it. I think they knew it wasn’t working because they had two mini refrigerators in the kitchen already when we arrived. It wasn’t a bad stay. We made the best of it. The location was our fault…we should have researched that better. Our family had a good time together and that’s what matters, but we will stay somewhere closer to town next time. ##### Sheri V. The cabin in spacious with 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms and a wonderful deck with a scenic mountain view. It was very relaxing to wake up to the sound of birds and sit on the deck with a cup of coffee to start the day! We all slept well and went into Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge for a few days and did some minimal hiking in the Smoky Mountains. I think it took us about 20 mins from the cabin to get to all of these destinations. The road is narrow and twisty to get to the cabin, but is paved and ‘doable’ with parking to fit 2 cars right by the front door. ##### Kris H. All the comforts of home. Their were a few broken pieces of furniture ( The rocker inside the house, the hide-a-bed was not usuable and the two wooden rockers on the deck were broken and unuseable) Everything else was wonderful! The location was beautiful just what we were looking for.There were two community pools, the little one we never found. Not very well marked.We would.definately stay there again. ##### Sheri H. Had issues with tv's, so I went without tv in one bedroom, possibly missing a remote. Living room tv would not adjust volume and it was very low. There was a remote that did not work in living room. Floors creeked as you walked on them so you could hear every step both upstairs and downstairs. The refrigerator made a lot of noise, making the living room tv harder to hear. The cleaners should have checked everything before our arrival. I contacted property management but nothing was solved during our visit. The home was nice and the beds very comfortable. It is quite a drive up the mountain and if you make a wrong turn you end up on one lane roads, very scary. ##### Kathy C. In the mountains with daily visits from bears. Trip up the mountain could be difficult if snowy, but we didn’t experience any snow. Off the record: The downstairs shower is an accident waiting to happen, water runs all over the floor, our only solution was to put towels down; my husband almost fell. Also, although an act of nature, a tree fell on our car and the home, as we were waking; at 4 am; to head home. Security was the only contact we could make, as no one replied to our texts, we hung around until near 10 because we didn’t want to leave the house open, as the tree also broke open a window. No one answered our calls. We contacted security and they said we should go. Security was great, but property managers, not so much. All in all it was a great trip,. ##### Voyageur vérifié Séjour de 7 nuits en novembre 2022 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Voyageur vérifié 10 nov. 2022 Points forts : Propreté #### Very comfortable and clean cabin ( almost like home) This is our 4th. time to stay in Cobly Nobbs but the 1st time in this property and I have to say this was the best for us. The property was very clean and had every thing that we needed for our comfort and we had a great view to our liking of the Mountain view and the changing of the leaves.
