Getting Around: All roads to the cabin are paved. We recommend 4x4 drive for all mountain cabins, including this one. While the drive is easy in clear weather, 4-wheel drive is a great precaution for winter or rainy conditions. Other Things to Note: • Guests must be at least 21 years old to book this cabin. • Maximum occupancy is 4 guests. • A 4x4 vehicle is recommended for travel in the Smoky Mountains. Roads to the cabin are paved, but weather conditions can shift quickly. • Gas fireplaces are seasonal and typically operate from October through March, depending on the weather. • Coffee makers include both Keurig and standard drip—please bring your preferred coffee. • A charcoal grill is available for use—guests must bring their own charcoal. • Hot tub is drained, sanitized, and refilled between each guest stay. They are very protected here and part of our area. • We have monthly pest control at all of our cabins. Being in the Great Smoky Mountains, we are surrounded by nature and wildlife. Ladybugs, millipedes, and other insects can be difficult to combat around this time of year, even with our constant pest control program in place. It is not uncommon to see them occur in and around the cabin/condo, especially with the opening and closing of doors. This is extremely common for the area and all cabins/condos. This cabin is at the end of the road, so only one neighbor which was nice. You feel far away from everything, but in reality you are so close to everything! ##### Carlas B. Wanted to get away from it all and do some hiking. Location was beyond beautiful. Also very close to national park for hiking, grocery and liquor stores, and a few restaurants. Your on top of a huge mountain and can see for miles. The view is amazing especially when the leaves are changing colors. The cabin is perfect it felt like home but in the mountains.
