As such it is important for potential guests to understand before making a reservation that mother nature and her loving family of flora and fauna may make their presence known including snakes, lizards, deer, bears, raccoons, spiders, ladybugs, wasps, bees, rabbits, excessive pollen, poison ivy/oak, chiggers, beetles, field mice, ants, cockroaches, squirrels, opossums, flies, walking sticks, coyotes, moths, and butterflies, just to name a few. And, although the cabin is on strict pest control and cleaning regimen our native flora and fauna may find a way to join you since you are visiting their habitat. • Pets: While we adore furry friends, our home isn't suitable for them. If a pet is found on the premises, a $200 fee will be charged, and we kindly ask you to leave with no refund. This policy is STRONGLY ENFORCED. Your understanding is greatly appreciated. • Absolutely NO SMOKING inside the cabin - NO EXCEPTIONS. If you choose to smoke on the deck, please refrain from discarding cigarette butts on the ground. Ensure the butt is fully extinguished and deposit them in the designated sand-filled pail or trash can before departure. If housekeeping or the groundskeeper needs to pick up discarded butts, a fee of $1 per butt will be charged. Evidence of smoking inside the cabin will result in a charge of $200 for deodorizing the home. This policy is STRONGLY ENFORCED. • Check-In/Out: The bed may be left unmade with sheets and pillowcases left on. Used towels/washcloths should be placed in the bathroom bathtub. All trash should be put in the outside garbage can. Close all windows. Make sure the door is locked before you leave. Check-in at 4:00 PM. Check-out at 10:00 AM. We charge $50 per hour for all requests for early check-in & late check-out, based on availability. Please note we may not be able to accommodate early check-ins/ late checkouts. If an amenity or feature stops working during your stay but was reported working by our maintenance crew, we will attempt to repair the item but cannot guarantee the repair and no Airbnb refund will be made. • We do not offer rescheduled stays or refunds on cancellations outside of Airbnb's extenuating circumstances policy. Perfect distance to Pigeon Forge and to Gatlinburg. Less than 20min on regular traffic days. Also very close to the small business trail/loop near Gatlinburg full of small family businesses if you don’t want the touristy destinations. Even better is the hot tub. It’s a nice addition and great for a quick soak after a long day walking around the parks and city. We did not use the oven and used the fridge minimally. So can’t speak on those. We did not use the charcoal grill outside either. Shower pressure was really weak especially the hotter you turned the handle. But for a couple days it was fine. Would stay here again if we needed to. Nice local bar down the road also - beer only. ##### Shaun R. The cabin was perfect for the two of us. It was located central to everything we wanted to do and everywhere we wanted to go from Pigeon Forge to Gatlinburg to Douglas Lake. Check in was a breeze and they made sure to check in on us after our first night. We enjoyed quiet mornings and evenings on our private deck.
