From your private deck or in the comfort of your own hot tub take in the expansive vistas of the Great Smoky Mountains. This cabin is equipped with an electric fireplace for added charm. There is a lot to do in the neighborhood, whether you want to spend the day at Dollywood, Dolly's Stampede, or Wonderworks. Elkmont Views can provide whatever type of vacation you desire in the Smoky Mountains. Cabin Assistance/Emergency/Housekeeping: Once you arrive to the cabin please let us know if you need assistance with anything. If you have an issue with the cleanliness of the cabin, we would rather know upon your arrival instead of in a review, so PLEASE CONTACT US! This cabin is located on a scenic mountain road with beautiful mountain views. It's about 16 miles from downtown Gatlinburg. It is located just minutes from the major attractions, shopping and dining. It is located away from the hustle and bustle, but not too far out. Check In: 4:00 pm EST Check Out: 10:00 am EST Two days prior to your check in, you will receive an email with your Cabin Key Code for the cabin's keyless entry system, cabin Wifi code, cabin phone number, directions to the cabin and Contact information for cabin assistance and emergencies. You will go directly to the cabin to check in. \*\*\*No early check-ins without prior approval. There will be a $50 per hour charge for late check outs without prior approval. The kitchen is stocked with what you need to prepare meals and create lasting memories. A romantic spot for stargazing or unwinding after an exciting day is the jetted hot tub on the private deck, which is perfect for cool mountain nights. The town of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are both easily accessible from this cabin, which is only a short distance away. This cabin is 15-20 mins from downtown which was essential to us. The property listing was accurate and the property itself was very private which was perfect for us. The road up to the cabin is very steep and curvy, but so worth it. We saw four different bears on the drive up. Completely private and we really enjoyed the hot tub. We did have some issues with mice. Maybe a trap or something could help. Also some trees could be cut back so the view isn’t obstructed. The view was so beautiful, cabin was clean, the area is so private and quiet, and the process was easy. We had an issue with the heat out our first night, making the cabin cold. But the next day, they were right there and had it fixed while we were out and it was warm and had no further issues. Hot tub overlooks the beautiful mountains and at night it is spectacular viewing all the stars out. Location is secluded but only about 15-20 minutes from the main Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge strips. So beautiful!! We had brought a pack n play for our 2 year old and then our 8 and 12 year old slept on the pull out bed from the couch.The drive up the mountain is beautiful as well but definitely a bit steep. The unit had a washer and dryer as well which was awesome since having kids this is so helpful. The communication with host is wonderful. Pretty fast at responses. Always helped with any questions I had or concerns before and during our stay. We chose to spend most of our stay in the cabin. Cooked, played games on the game table and used the hot tub.(There were wasps but this is expected due to the wooded area-bring wasp spray.)We Even got to see a bear walk out from under the deck off into the bushes one night. We were well prepared with what to bring for ourselves but this unit could add a dustpan, cutting board and grill utensils. Thank you for hosting us. Jul 30, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy I booked this cabin for the view and I was not disappointed. The view is truly magnificent. I was really looking forward to sitting in the hot tub on the balcony as the pictures showed. We were not able to turn the hot tub on and after texting and emailing we were told it was working. Our second night, we tried again but could not get it to work. That wasn’t terrible, but was disappointing. For information of future guests, there was no coffee in the cabin. Since all other places we have rented have had coffee, we assumed there would be. We would have brought instant if we had known. The remote location makes it hard to return to a store after arriving. Also, any guest should put any food in the refrigerator. We left a box of peanut crackers on the stove and during the night a mouse got into them, nibbled on a package and left droppings. I understand that this is a cabin in the woods, I just wish I had known to not leave anything out on the cabinet. ##### Jeannette M. Stayed 2 nights in Jul 2025 ### 8/10 Good #### Courtney K. Mar 17, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Quaint little cabin The cabin is a delight - it IS very secluded but I love being up in the trees, away from the hustle and bustle - it makes for excellent stargazing! Bed was comfy and hot tub was great. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was due to the fact that there were wasps in the cabin. I made sure we did not leave any doors or windows open at all other than going in and out, and shutting them immediately behind us, yet there were still wasps inside. Some wasp spray might be nice to have on hand inside the cabin is my only suggestion! I actually did get stung on the foot when putting my contacts in- I don’t know if I stepped on it or what since I couldn’t see! but I was relieved it was me and not my son who was stung! I know bugs are common this time of year in the mountains - again, maybe some wasp killer would be handy to have on hand. We loved the cabin and view! ##### Courtney K. Overall, I was happy with the cabin. I loved the fireplace. My only two complaints are that the hot tub leaked and only one jet really worked,a couple kind of worked but seemed blocked or something. So the next day I figured I'd try the jacuzzi inside and was disappointed that it not only wasn't hot but only one jet worked there. However, the pool table upstairs was an added bonus and the fireplace made for some cozy, relaxing nights. I did communicate with the property manager while I was there about something and they were quick and timely to respond. If you are looking for a cabin with great views this is the one! It has the pool table and arcade game upstairs for some added fun. Hot tub and fireplace downstairs for relaxing times. Communication was great. ##### Jesse A. The style and decor of the cabin, the location, the view, and the amenities (offered) would make this a five star cabin, easily. The problem is in the little things that added up: the outside pane of the windows above the front door were broken and hastily cleaned up leaving small shards of glass on the porch and yard, there were loose and broken tiles that can cut your feet if you aren't paying attention, the remote control didn't have batteries, the Wi-Fi password I was given was wrong, the Jacuzzi tub didn't "Jacuzzi", the dryer didn't tumble, the hot tub gave me a yeast infection, and there's a rather significant mouse infestation. To be fair, I was never able to get in touch with the rental company and I'm sure they would have fixed what they could if I had. I tried calling the day that we checked in but they were closed and at the time I was only aware of the glass and tiles and opted not to leave a message. We were busy in the park the rest of the week and I wasn't able to call during business hours. ##### Amanda B.
