Our home, with a 'farmhouse cottage' feel, is located just off Beaver Lake and offers a 'nature reserve' experience. It's equipped to host up to 8 people. When you walk into our A-frame home, you'll discover an open-concept living room, kitchen, and dining space that creates the ideal setting for memorable gatherings. Unwind in the living room, equipped with a flat-screen TV where you can stream all your favorite shows through a Roku. Step outside to enjoy stunning lake views from two inviting porches. The upper deck features a gas grill for outdoor cooking, while the screened-in lower deck provides a perfect spot for relaxed family meals, complete with tables and chairs. Experience the comfort of memory foam mattresses in every bedroom. Even the living room’s pull-out couch features a memory foam mattress, ensuring everyone has their own sanctuary without the need to draw straws for sleeping arrangements: (1) Private bedroom - with a Queen-size bed and two Twin-size beds. (2) Shared space - loft with two Twin-size beds and a Sofa bed (Queen size) in the living room. I thought I’d miss not having lake access, but not at all! We enjoyed watching all of the squirrels and chipmunks scurrying everywhere. There was a family of deer that visited us multiple times a day. A lovely place to go for walks, chat with friends and family on the back deck, and enjoy a good meal cooked in the well supplied kitchen. It was definitely one of the cleanest VRBOs I’ve stayed in, which I appreciate more than you can know. We had a few maintenance issues that needed attention and they were handled quickly. Be aware that the spiral staircase leading to the upstairs is pretty tight & steep. I wouldn’t be comfortable with young children staying in the loft due to the bars on the railing being wider than I am comfortable with. The driveway is an U shape…fairly steep on both sides. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed and was just as described. We loved spending time out on the deck. It had a beautiful view of the lake and we enjoyed all the wildlife. We spent our days exploring neighboring areas and our nights hanging out at the cabin. The host answered our questions quickly and made us feel very welcomed. We all enjoyed the pitches and the beautiful views, the littler river/waterfall running down by the house was so relaxing to sit on the porch and listen to.
