« We were in town for a weekend concert at Severance and stayed at this Carriage House. The Carriage House itself is very nice and its interior has been renovated. What did throw us off was the condition of the main house and the yard which are still in a significant state of disrepair. The lawn is overgrown with broken statues, walkways and collective clutter surrounding the exterior which you see from the carriage house. « This was just perfect for our little getaway. Sweet, little cottage with a full kitchen (with all the amenities you could need), comfy bed, lovely surroundings. It was really close to Squires Castle-just a few minutes drive. We took a wonderful stroll in the woods and hills and looked around the 'castle.' Back at the cottage we enjoyed the little patio and saw lots of wildlife. It was refreshing, quiet, private, and cute. »
