"I was so pleased with my experience at Fisherman’s Village-I strongly recommend it and will definitely go back if given the chance. Reserving the space was so easy and it was surprisingly affordable, given that it’s right on the water. Communication from the property was very easy and fast! I wanted to let them know I’d be checking in late in the evening and they responded within minutes saying that was perfectly fine. The location is amazing-we saw the northern lights as soon as we pulled in. It’s about 15 minutes outside of the city but it feels more secluded than that (in a good way). It was essentially self check-in and getting into the room was very easy-no issues at all. I’ll have to recheck the name of the room we had, but it had a queen bed and two singles in a loft. It was so warm and cozy, especially nice after a day long tour of the Golden Circle. I thought having robes for us was a really nice touch that elevated the atmosphere. Even though there were many people outside looking at the lights, it wasn’t noisy at all. In the morning we got to finally look around and it was still gorgeous. The mountains and rock beach were all breathtaking. Checkout was simple and we could park right by our little “house”. We didn’t spend enough time there to use the hot tub or sauna, so I can’t speak to those (although watching the lights from the tub would have been cool). We had the BEST experience!!"
