The road is accessible year-round. · Abundant wildlife on your way to our home and around the common grounds · We are located in a remote area and due to wildlife (bears, crows, coyotes, wolves, etc) in the area, there is no trash service for homes from Gardiner to Livingston and all homes in the area are required to take their trash to the free dumpsters located on your way into the park and on your way to Livingston, located in secure fencing to protect the people as well as the animals in the area. There is an ATM/Bank, grocery store, restaurants, bars, laundromat and shopping located in Gardiner, 5 miles from our home. The Archway and entrance to Yellowstone National Park is 5 miles from our home and less than 1 mile from Gardiner, Montana. Please feel free to call or email with any questions! The downstairs is owned by another family, but it is a private home with a private entrance. No part of the upstairs is shared or accessible by any other folks. My husband, his parents and our 3 children (8, 6 and 2) stayed here for 4 nights. The space was clean, easy to find with Toni’s directions, very compatible for children, and in such a convenient location. The kitchen was very usable and we cooked every night. There are children’s plates, bowls, utensils etc and plenty of cookware to prepare meals. The laundry area is right outside the bathrooms and is set up nicely to accommodate the size of our family. We saw wildlife EVERYDAY around the property. There was a pack of 100+ elk in the field next to the home for 2 straight days. We saw many pronghorn as well. This was important for our kids as they were really looking forward that experience. The house is a short ride to Yellowstone Hot Springs which we took the kids to so they could swim, which was a nice late afternoon activity after adventuring in the park. The locals are friendly and accommodating and we enjoyed spending time downtown as well. If we ever go back to Yellowstone we would love the opportunity to stay here again! ##### Katie K. It’s approximately 4 miles from town and the scenery is beautiful and we saw lots of Elk! So nice to sit on the deck and take it all in! The condo was clean and had everything we needed! I only had to minor gripes: 1) I wish I had know that it was on 6 miles of the roughest and most washboarded gravel I've ever driven on (and I live in rural Iowa, I'm not a stranger to gravel). 2) they need to have an outdoor trash can that I can take the garbage out to. We stayed there for 2 days and had nowhere to empty the trash unless I wanted to drive to a dump sight (which I didn't want to). Beside that it was great. Thanks! ##### Steven M.
