The bedroom has its own door, too. The wi-fi is reliable and you've got KoreaTown BBQ right across the street. This is one of the oldest motels in Garden Grove, and may seem a bit rustic, but c'mon people, everybody needs to save money these days. Save your money for Disneyland, or a hot spicey Bulgogi dinner within walking distance. I had a minor issue with the heating and it was taken care of right away. (Old Folks such as myself: watch your step in the parking area and on the stairs). I should have done more research when I first booked a room. I saw it had an 8 score and it was “very good” so I went for it. For one, the neighborhood is ghetto. When we entered we noticed the floor was dirty, there was left over food in the fridge, a partially used toilet paper, and a used bandaid hanging from the bathroom ceiling. There was also a lady having a VERY loud conversation outside in front of our room regarding her personal court business. The food is excellent. If you've never had Korean food you are missing out. I have a daily habit of walking in the early morning when it's still dark. I felt perfectly safe on Garden Grove Blvd. The locals are warm and friendly and helpful.
