The desk staff apathetic at best. The room was tight with a king size bed squished into a twin room. The bed uncomfortable and the pillows were lumpy. Could literally walk everywhere! The toilet, bed, and sink were clean but the hotel room itself was ran down with rust all over the front of the tub and holes in the walls. This place is good if you are just needing a place to sleep for a night and two. We did have an ocean view! There were holes in the wall, broken and very porly fixed sink counter, the toilet paper was dry but clearly had been wet on one end before and had a little blue on the wet portion maybe cleaner? The bath tub was rusted all over by the faucet (not the faucet) the actual tub. The bed was fine and location was fine we also had a NONE smoking room and the room smelled HIGHLY of cigarette smoke!!! We were VERY DISAPPOINTED should have asked for a refund. Also not stated they have a $50 deposit fee "you get back in a few days" hopefully I end up getting it back or I'll be contacting them! The microwave hesitated to work and then there was two little critters crawling around in the restroom not to mention the bed. I felt like something was biting me all night so honestly, I know it was last minute to stay, but the price I paid should be compensated as well as my deposit. Don’t understand why charging a deposit for a room that it’s not up to standard. Room was fully renovated and very nice. Outside of motel was freshly painted. Staff were great, they even let us leave our suitcases for the day, which was super super helpful! This motel has had some bad reviews, which I don’t agree with at all. I would happily stay here again. Good area, no problems. (The one thing is they shouldn’t advertise breakfast because it is only very good coffee, juice, and very small packages of muffins/danishes/mini donuts.) It was, however, perfect for a night-over before getting on a cruise. Loved the access to the beach and the staff was amazing. Allowed us late check out to accomodate waiting for our cruise checkin time.
