With sun-drenched porches and light-filled living spaces, this comfortable bungalow has the space for 12, an outdoor shower, tons of deck space, and a barbeque area with a charcoal grill. Your crew will love the ocean breezes and easy access to Terramar Beach. Mix up a pitcher of margaritas and kick back at this delightful Texas coast cottage. ● WINTER TEXAN RATE: Escape to the Texas Gulf Coast this winter! Ask about our reduced monthly rates October 1 - March 1\. ● Location: Terramar Beach community of Galveston, Texas ● Beach Access: Terramar Beach access point is a 30 second car ride or 3-4 minute walk away. ● Community Amenities: Guests have access to the Terramar beach community pool— open Memorial Day thru Labor Day— and the boat launch and marina with the provided keys. ● Rent BeachBox: Beach gear rentals are available! The main level great room is open and inviting, with airy vaulted ceilings and crisp white shiplap detail. The streamlined kitchen has wood tone cabinets topped with quartz countertops. A peninsula bar has seating for four people, and the dining table has additional seating for six. Pack up some snacks for the beach, serve a quick lunch to your crew, or prepare an elaborate dinner— the kitchen is fully-stocked and completely accommodating for whatever amount of cooking you want to do— or not do! The primary bedroom is down the hallway and features a queen-size bed. An attached half bath adds a bit of privacy, while a glass door leads out to the sunny back porch. A second bedroom has another queen bed and twin bunk bed. A full bathroom with a tub/shower combo is accessible from the hallway. Game room fun awaits on the ground level, with a queen bed, twin bunk bed and full sofa bed, plus arcade games, a TV, half bathroom and washer/dryer! For a blissful beach day, the access point for Terramar Beach is right around the corner, and the friendly community lets you feel like a Texas coast local. It’s also an easy drive to the Galveston Strand for dining and shopping, or to Pleasure Pier for amusement park fun. ● Cancellation Policy: All cancellations are subject to a 3% credit card processing fee. ● Party Policy: No parties are allowed at our home. Great location if you want to get away from the busy areas of Galveston. There is beach access straight out of the community and a small store minutes away. The house itself is very cute and had plenty of room and everything we needed to make our meals. It was clean and everything worked. We didn't realize the garage room was separate from the upstairs, but that wasn't too big of a deal. Our older kids loved the privacy. While the location wasn't close to the cruise terminal, it was very close to the beach in a quiet community, which we loved. However, the house itself was a little rough. There was a lot of little things that added up - the couch was super dirty, the shower curtain was torn up, the water never got hot during a shower, the bed frames in the bottom bedroom were broken, there were remotes missing for the tv's and the remote that was there was almost unusable because the buttons were so worn and half didn't work, there were soft spots in the flooring. The check in and out process was easy and communication was good, but again, the house itself is just a bit rough. I will say the downfall is that we weren’t familiar with the area and were very confused as to how many miles away the actual town of Galveston was away. The communication was good and helpful with the hosts, but I wished we were closer to town since we were staying just for 1 night. The property is really set up for a multiple night stay and it was very nice. My family was very comfortable and made themselves right at home. ##### Loren F. The room layout was deceiving, with furniture blocking doors and closets. Plus, the third bedroom was actually a converted garage. While the location and pool size were okay, the overall experience was marred by the need for a deep clean.
