I am not familiar with Galveston so wasn’t aware that it is located on a main thoroughfare. But it was still relatively quiet and close to everything we needed. We were very impressed with the house it was very clean very easy check in and a beautiful house! We visit Galveston every year and usually stay at a hotel but we are so glad we decided to go with this home for this trip because it was such a great experience Russell vas very helpful and made this trip stress free! We didn't use the pool, but it was nice and clean. The property is older, but that didn't bother us. The bunks are on the floor and that was rough on some in our party. It was great for 6 adults and would be for a family. I think more seating in the living room would be helpful as there is only the couch. If you have more than 2 cars it can be a problem as you are on a main road. We had a great stay and enjoyed the house and Galveston. Russell was easy to contact and addressed any needs quickly. NOT CLEAN. The house looked like it hasn't ever been dusted or mopped. The kids had their shoes off while in the house and their feet were black shortly after. So much dust and crumbs all over the floors. The fans packed with dust and I wasn't for certain we slept with clean sheets. The bathrooms we're clean. One of the games in the game room was broken. No turn around room. Master on 1st fl. So hot and couldn’t keep door open not enough rm. It states 5 bathrooms and you would assume in the bedrooms but only 1 was, that was the reason we booked .Other doors wouldn’t open all the way. Kitchen nice, living rm nice. It would not be enough rm for more days. Patio was nice and we didn’t use the pool. ##### Wanda R.
