Pointe West is a privately owned resort community on the western tip of Galveston Island, located approximately 30 minutes from The Strand & other great Galveston attractions. You will have exclusive access to our beach that is clean & groomed regularly offering you a perfect spot to relax & unwind, away from the crowds. The Pointe West Beach Club is a privately owned facility and offers resort style amenities for guests who choose to purchase access. Use of these amenities is optional. Resort Fee: $25 per person (ages 4+), per stay. \*Beach club policy only allows 3 amenity bands per bedroom. It includes use of: • Beach Club pool and seasonally heated Bayside pool with lazy river • Hot tubs • Basketball & Pickleball court and a modest game/exercise room • Seasonal family activities are offered throughout the year. • The Pointe Restaurant opens seasonally for lunch and dinner. The Beach Club will email an invoice directly to you. After payment, wristbands may be picked upon arrival at the Beach Club Office, open daily from 9 AM–5 PM. Although it was listed to sleep 10 people the kitchen was not outfitted for a group. For example, there were only 2 pots, 2 pans, and 1 measuring cup. I do understand limiting things like toilet paper, paper towels, and garbage bags but the amount supplied should take into account the size of the group. There were not enough towels and the bedding (blankets, comforters was pretty sparse as well.The porch had 4 chairs and 2 small side tables. No other porch furniture. Again we enjoyed our visit but there are details that could be improved to make this a house that is truly made for a bigger group as advertised ##### Louisa G.
