The only thing i would change about the unit would be to add a washer and dryer. We had everything we needed and master bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed the downtown Strand area. Property was directly on the gulf, no need to cross busy street to be on the beach! Clean rooms and ample space for my husband and I. We were late arrival and called as instructed by email and had no problem checking in at gatehouse. We were there in April and found plenty of parking and also appreciated parking pass that came with rental. Stopped by Walmart as we came into town and picked up coffee, snacks and drinks and unit had everything we needed for enjoyable 3 day stay. There was rust on beachside doorknob and a couple places could have used a paint touch up but this is typical of a structure so near the salt water. If we find ourselves back in Galveston someday, we would stay here again. ##### Kathy G. The access to the beach is the best you’re going to find anywhere along the Galveston strip! Within 3 minutes you go from your up in your beachfront view of a room, to toes in the water a\*\* in the sand.
