The Living Room has a Smart TV (Streaming with own account only-no Cable), DVD Player, comfortable seating and a Full Sleeper Sofa. Beach views from the Living Room windows are a delight! Enjoy Family Fun Night with an abundance of Board/Card games- Including Galveston-Opoly!!!. Afterwards, cozy up on the sofa and stream everyone's favorite movie and spend an entertaining evening at home. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need for any meal at home to include a Dual Drip/Keurig Coffee maker (we provide a starter amount of drip ground coffee, creamer and sugar), Utensils, Cookware, Microwave, Toaster, etc. The 6 or 8 Person Dining Table (Has a detachable Leaf available and two extra chairs to seat 8) is perfect for family meals or game nights! We also provide a Gas BBQ Grill outside on the porch for our guests to cook that catch of the day from the Gulf! The Pantry also includes a Washer/Dryer (detergent included) that is available for guests' use as well as extra bulbs/batteries and a large supply of other cookware including a Crock Pot, Large Pot, Blender, etc. Outdoor living at the Salty Starfish is amazing, too! The covered outdoor entertainment down below is definitely the hot spot to chill day or night! We are in awe of this area and we loved the little seaside restaurants we tried. Dollar general is 2 minutes away to pickup whatever you need for your stay which is convenient. The house is very clean and has everything you need. The patio area is very nice with a picnic table, TV, cornhole, hammock, lounge chairs, etc. Quick drive to downtown Galveston area. The beds were comfy, even the bunks! My 6ft. teenager had no complaints on the bottom bunk. The beach was a five minute walk away. The decor was charming and cozy. Plenty of towels provided in the bathrooms. Most of the essentials needed in the kitchen. The kitchen is on the small side with minimal cabinet space, so they did a good job of deciding what to supply. I would recommend some cleaning supplies and wash cloths for the bathrooms. There is a makeup wash cloth provided, but would be nice to have extra. We left a cleaner and spices purchased. Home was super clean and comfortable. All of the amenities made our stay perfect and we had everything we needed for the beach. Less than one block from the beach was so convenient. I would classify this as an almost private beach experience. The best touch was the hammock/entertainment area downstairs.
