Perfect for creating unforgettable memories on your beach getaway! ● WINTER TEXAN RATE: Escape to the Texas Gulf Coast this winter! Ask about our reduced monthly rates October 1 - March 1\. ● Location: Jamaica Beach community of Galveston, Texas ● Beach access: The home is less than a minute walk from the community beach access point! Cars and golf carts are also allowed to park on the beach. ● Community Amenities: Guests have access to the Jamaica Beach community pool (open Memorial Day thru Labor Day - $5 per person) and city park. ● Rent BeachBox: Beach gear rentals are available! Head outside and breathe in the fresh air on the spacious front porch, where stunning Gulf views greet you. After a day of beach adventures, unwind in the downstairs screen room. The bunk beds are definitely for kids and not for adults as it only has strips of wood holding the mattress. The dishes had to be rewashed as there were rodent droppings on them. The house was not cleaned when we went in- there was empty energy drinks on the living room window behind the blinds. Crumbs all on the living room table. It is a bit off season, so restaurants have little to no wait, and the beach is not full. This is a quick easy walk to the beach. The accommodations are nice. I will be filing a complaint with all parties for a refund of our stay. I can go on and on because there’s many more problems with this house. It took 2 days to get a response for repair and the AC condition could not be fixed. The ceiling fan in the living area did not work and could not be fixed. The WiFi was down upon arrival and the TV did not work but was repaired the second day. The house was great—comfortable, well-located, and within walking distance to the beach and plenty of dining options. Communication from the property management team was excellent, making the stay smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend! ##### Said S. The home is inviting, very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is very well appointed for dining in or on the large, upstairs deck-plenty of seating for all in either space. I particularly love that bathrooms have enough towel racks and/or hooks for each person’s towel. The location is perfect-literally a very short walk to the beach and a beautiful, unobstructed view of the ocean from the upstairs deck. We love it here! ##### teresa g. The Paunchy Pelican is the perfect beach getaway for families or groups!The home is spacious, ultra clean, and the furnishings and decor are really comfortable, cozy, peaceful, and make you feel right at home while knowing you're away from it all.Our family loved that there were plenty of beds, the kitchen was well-appointed, there's plenty of beach gear available, and the check out process was super easy.Most importantly you are one block off the beach, you can see the water from house, and Jamaica Beach is far enough out of Galveston that you don't feel any kind of crowdedness - it is really peaceful. But you are still close enough to take easy advantage of restaurants, shopping, etc. in town.We loved our stay and know you will too! ##### Brian S.
