The Space: Experience a Best of the West Galveston property with Salty Sunset Oasis, a luxurious 3-bedroom, 3-bath bayside retreat offering stunning, unobstructed views of the bay. Located just a short drive from the beach and the Pointe West Beach Club, this condo is the perfect blend of relaxation, comfort, and convenience. Inside, you’ll find a modern, fully equipped kitchen and flat-screen TVs in the living room, sitting room, and all three bedrooms. The primary bedroom features a king bed and an ensuite bathroom, the second bedroom offers a queen bed with its own ensuite, and the third bedroom has a twin over full. An additional pull-out sofa in the sitting area accommodates two more guests. The condo comes complete with a washer/dryer, bed linens for all beds, and bath and pool towels. Step onto the expansive private balcony to enjoy peaceful views of the bay and the nearby bird sanctuary—home to Roseate Spoonbills, Egrets, and Herons. Sip a glass of wine, snap some photos, and take in unforgettable sunsets from your own outdoor oasis. Leave your worries behind… this is your Bayview Beauty. Pet Friendly: This home welcomes up to 2 dogs (combined weight up to 100 lbs). $150 pet fee applies. Pointe West is an exclusive resort community located on the western tip of Galveston Island. Its beaches are pristine, professionally groomed, and utterly free of vehicular traffic, creating a peaceful coastal escape. The main clubhouse features a stunning infinity-edge pool, hot tub, children’s pool, cabanas, grills, gift shop, fitness center with locker rooms, and a game room. On the bayside, the Sunset Pool offers a relaxing lazy river, hot tub, fire pit, and both gas and charcoal grills for guest use. Enjoy on-site amenities such as the pool bar and restaurant\*, s’mores by the Sunset Pool, kids’ crafts, and live entertainment. An activity schedule will be provided upon booking, or you can view dates and times on the Pointe West Beach Club website. What We Provide: When you stay in a Best of the West home, all you need to bring are your clothes, sunscreen, food, and yourself! The Neighborhood: \*\*\*AMENITIES FEE: Please note that you will need to obtain a wristband and access code from the Pointe West Beach Club to take full advantage of the community facilities (pools, gym, clubhouse game room, Basketball, and Pickleball courts). They charge $25 per guest 4 years old and older and are good for the entire length of your stay. This fee will be paid directly to the Beach Club upon registration. (You will receive an email from the Pointe West POA to prepay the resort fee. The primary guest on your reservation will need to show an ID at the Beach Club Office to pick up the wristbands and parking passes.) \*\*\* Fees increased to $25/per person in 2023\. We are long-time visitors of Pointe West and have stayed at houses and condos on both the Bay and Gulf sides. If you're looking for a little more laid-back visit, the Bay side is wonderful. This condo is on the 2nd floor, so easy to get to but not too close to the action. The views are wonderful and the place was spotless. It's very spacious for our family of five and it was great to just sit on the patios, avoid the mosquitos and even watch a great pirate movie on the HUGE television in the living room. The kitchen was well-stocked and we especially appreciated the extra TV room and pullout sofa bed in the "breakfast area." So much more useful than another eating area! The provided beach wagon helped with carrying our stuff to the fantastic setup we got from pointewest.rentals. We initially thought we might have preferred a condo facing the ocean, but this location was perfect -- views of the bay AND the ocean, lots of quiet space around and not a lot of traffic or noise at night. The Beach Club is a really nice amenity especially for groups like ours with teenagers and older folks -- elevators, ramps, infinity pool, gift shop and hot tub. One balcony on each side of the unit. It was very clean, and even offered beach towels, The only complaint is that we only had one set of bath towels per bathroom for the entire three days stay. However, we washed using the washer and dryer so it was ok. The kitchen was clean and overall the property was lovely and maintained very well. James the manager was very responsive and helpful as well. We would stay again! ##### Tara E. It was clean and everything was in working order. The host text us to make sure we arrived and got in ok. He also text us with an issue that was going in town with water.
