These beautiful cabins (aka Log Cabin and Barn Cabin) offer a peaceful and serene setting, perfect for those seeking a relaxing getaway in the beautiful area of Potter County, PA. The place is all yours - the cabins are not rented separately. \*\*During the winter, we advise using a 4WD vehicle for access\*\* The front doors of the cabins are about 25 feet apart. Both were clean, well appointed and worked well for two small families. We were cousins that met there for the week. One family from Pittsburgh and the other from northern NJ. We took advantage of everything at this place and the area. Campfires almost every night with S'Mores or Mountain Pies. Sitting on the spacious deck for breakfast or the smaller porch with coffee. Stargazing was amazing at night and we could see the Milky Way because of no light pollution. We did go to Cherry Springs Park and the Ranger narrated viewing with telescopes of the night sky was fantastic. Rented Kayaks and Paddleboarding (ours) twice in the morning was a success. PA Grand Canyon was breathtaking and some of us hiked the 800 feet down and back up. Some of us went up the old fire tower 100 ft in the air close to PA Grand Canyon and that view was even more spectacular. (Note, there is a $5 card charge to go up the tower, this pays for insurance.) There is Elk viewing in Elk County 90 minutes away and some of us did that. We went to Wellsboro for shopping and the tourist stuff. We had a game night and the air hockey table was used and then the big table in the barn cabin seats 6 easily and we played card games. Seating at this table for dinner was easy and we took advantage of both kitchens to cook our meals. It is very quiet here which is what we needed. GPS is off a bit, look for the small 95 sign. ##### John N. It was one of the best provisioned stays we have had. Everything you could possibly need was available. The cabin was remote enough so that most of the time all you heard was nature.
