Family Retreat

We had a great stay for a little family retreat in off-season Galena. By renting both suites, we essentially had the house to ourself (less the kitchen proper) which was a wonderful surprise (and pleasant when traveling with kids!) Breakfast was wonderful both days and Kate did an amazing job of giving instruction and making sure we had everything that we needed.

We love this place

Kate is a wonderful host! She had breakfast ready for us every day! She even accommodated my gluten-free girlfriend. This is a wonderful house in walking distance from anything downtown. It is also far enough off of.main st that it is quiet. We will definitely stay here again!
