It is entirely self-contained, occupying the first floor of the owner’s house, and is accessed via its own separate entrance. The apartment comprises lounge area, dining area, kitchen and 2 bedrooms each with ensuite facilities. It's a great place for couples, solo adventurers, walkers, photographers. The pictures that accompany this listing do not begin to describe the stunning beauty of this place. The ocean and the surrounding mountains are breath-taking! The hike down to the secluded beach is moderately difficult but well worth the effort . The beach front hike provided more stunning views. The apartment is very modern with a comfortable living area, a kitchen with a stove top/oven, plenty of cooking utensils and modern appliances. There are 2 large bedrooms (one with a magnificent view of the ocean and surrounding mountains), each with a private toilet and shower. There are several restaurants in the area and dinner at the Badachro Inn is a must! Our lovely hosts, Mark and Maria, were most gracious and helpful. We will most definitely stay here again the next time we are in the Gairloch region. ##### Wes H. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. Mark and Maria were fantastic hosts, available when needed but gave us much privacy. We loved the views, cats, sheep, and many birds we saw during our stay. On clear nights we enjoyed looking up at the stars and Milky Way through the skylights and even saw some shooting stars. Gairloch is nearby and has several cute shops and restaurants. We enjoyed the gorgeous scenery when traveling to Inverewe Gardens and Ullapool. We had the best time and were able to relax and rest.
