Back garden with sitting-out area, garden furniture and barbecue. 2 dogs welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times (sheep country). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Nestled on the edge of the peaceful village of Llangaffo on the enchanting Isle of Anglesey, this delightful dog-friendly cottage offers the perfect escape for families, friends, and their four-legged companions. Sleeping up to four guests, the property features two bedrooms on the first floor: a comfortable double room and a charming twin room, ideal for children or friends. A ground-floor shower room and a first-floor bathroom with a shower over a small bath provide convenience for all. The spacious kitchen-diner is a welcoming space for preparing and enjoying meals together, whether it’s a hearty breakfast or a relaxing evening supper. The living room, with its inviting log burner, is the perfect spot to unwind after a day of adventures, offering a warm and homely atmosphere. Outside, the private garden area provides a scenic space for guests to enjoy the fresh country air. Beyond the garden, guests have access to nearly two acres of meadow and woodland, shared only with other cottages, providing plenty of space for peaceful walks, picnics, and exploring nature, dogs are also welcome to enjoy this area.  
  
Anglesey is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers. Nearby Newborough Beach and Llanddwyn Island are highlights not to be missed. With miles of golden sands, picturesque dunes, and breathtaking views, it’s an ideal spot for long walks, often with your dog by your side. Llanddwyn Island is steeped in mythology and history, home to St. Dwynwen’s Church ruins. The surrounding Newborough Forest is a haven for wildlife, including Anglesey’s iconic red squirrels. The island’s natural beauty extends beyond its beaches and forests. There are 125 miles of coastal paths to explore which reveal stunning seascapes and a variety of birdlife, including puffins, guillemots, and gannets.  
  
Boat trips from Beaumaris or Holyhead offer the chance to spot seals, porpoises, and even dolphins in the surrounding waters. These trips also provide access to Puffin Island, a sanctuary for seabirds. For history enthusiasts, Beaumaris Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a must-see for adults and children alike, while South Stack Lighthouse offers dramatic views and fascinating insights into Anglesey’s maritime history.
