#### Take an aerial ride to see some of the best views of South Korea’s forested southern coastline and its many islands.

For a 360-degree view of the beautiful southern coastline of South Korea, take a day-trip to Tongyeong. Here you’ll find the Hallyeo Waterway Observation Cable Car, which takes visitors up to the peak of Mount Mireuksan. Enjoy incredible panoramas of Busan’s dramatic coastline and islands.

South of Tongyeong, Mount Mireuksan rises 1,512 feet (461 meters) above the Pacific Ocean which surrounds it on three sides. The cable car is the longest in Korea at 6,480 feet (1,975 meters), but the aerial ride takes only nine minutes to reach the observation deck at the mountain’s summit. Once at the top, walk up a flight of stairs for the best views of the surrounding areas. Enjoy a snack at the small restaurant at the upper station.

Look north for a complete view of Tongyeong and its forested hills. Then gaze to the south to the hundreds of islands that dot the coastline. On very clear days, scan the horizon to the southeast to see the outline of Japan’s Tsushima Island, roughly 50 miles (80 kilometers) offshore.

The cable car lies within the Hallyeo Waterway National Park, which encompasses an enormous expanse of coastline, islands and ocean across the southeastern coast of South Korea. It attracts over a million tourists every year. 

Each cable car is identified with a unique name and seats eight passengers. During the summer, the high numbers of visitors mean that you will probably have to ride with other guests, depending on the size of your group. There is a fee to ride the cable car and enter the park. The views are best enjoyed on clear days, so check the weather forecast before you visit. 

Reach Tongyeong by car or bus from Busan. Then take a bus or park for free at the lower station of the Hallyeo Waterway Observation Cable Car. Operation is year-round, with service starting at mid-morning and ending in early evening.

The rooms where nice and big, some amenities are provided like shampoo and soap, also big towels are available by asking the reception. The beds where a bit hard, but still confortable with an additional pillow per bed. The location was good, close to various shops and the Lotte mall, we could walk for dinner and to many convenience stores.

Easy check in, very comfortable, lota of space in the bedroom with 3 beds! My room had beautiful views and the 7 elevan downstairs is a plus! This will definitely be my go to for when I stay in Busan! Absolutely loved it! Totally recommend!

1\. 8mins walk fm Seomyeon stn (metro line 1 & 2). Surrounded by many restaurants & convenient stores. Lotte Dept Store, Seomyeon underground shopping st. & food st. are also nearby. 2\. The building shared btw few tenants and Arban Hotel occupied few levels. No dedicated lift for hotel guest, but u need hotel room card to access to yr floor. Didn't notice if there is a CCTV/cam inside/near the lift and so for solo traveller, please be careful. Reception is at 13th floor. 3\. We arrived Arban Hotel at around 11am and a bit disappointed that we were not able to check in early hence we left our luggage at the reception area. 4\. We checked in on Wednesday for 2 rooms & 3 nights stay, my rooms were at 6th floor, were able to sleep well on our 1st night. When come to 2nd night, we started to hear noise when we entered into our room, as the noise level were within our acceptance level hence we had ignored it. When come to 3rd night (Friday), the noise became obvious and we finally realized that there was a bowling center on the 5th floor (below our floor), and the ball rolling & striking sound last till midnight, we didn't ask for a change since we will be checking out the next day. My intention of writing this is to alert anyone who intend to stay in Arban Hotel to avoid 6th floor, if possible. 5\. Room & toilet were spacious. 6\. Laundry room @ 6th floor with 2 washers & 2 dryers. Washer @ ₩4000 for 36mins and dryer @ ₩4000 for 50mins. U can buy laundry detergent fm kiosk m/c.
