Very up-to-date. Lovely furnishings. Well equipped kitchen which made it easy to opt to have dinner on the terrace and take in the view. Lay-out was perfect for two couples -- spacious and with privacy. Madeira is quite easy to manage by public transportation, and the apartment is near several bus-lines. We would definitely want to rent this place again should we be lucky enough to return to Madeira. ##### Stephen H. Lovely terraces. Nice modern feel. Short walk to sea and shops, cafes. Easy to get taxis from and to. Would definitely stay again but deducted 1 star as pillows too hard and sheets not pure cotton and no air conditioning although fans provided.
