The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to offer tips on the best local spots. Although the rooms are somewhat small, the overall vibe was cozy and welcoming, perfect for meeting fellow travelers. It's many years since we've stayed in a hostel, and this was definitely an improvement on 'the good old days'. Our basic 2-bunk room was VERY small, but we managed to fit ourselves and packs in there.
