However It’s outside appearance is. It’s dirty. The service is below par. Typical Japanese hospitality doesn’t exist. I can say it because I live in Japan 3 months out of a year and I have traveled and stayed in Ryokan all over Japan. Upon check in, the lady just showed room without showing the whole place. Cheap accommodation with Japanese styled decorated room. Comfortable and cozy in general. Very convenient- 4 mins walk from Gion Metro Station, and around 15 mins walk away from Hakata train station. Nicely-decorated lobby ;) Bad: Minimal noice isolation- might not be suitable for travellers who’re sensitive to noise.
